i dont remember where i found this but im glad i did its a fun game and i love the artstyle, i think my only criticism would be that you cant change the inputs, which might just be from me being way too used to using wasd instead of arrow keys to move i highly recommend if youre bored or need to kill 15-20 minutes i really hope this game gets more content in the future

Aliens After Ava is an energetic indie action platformer that blends side-scrolling shooting, fast-paced movement, and endless runner mechanics into an experience that prioritizes skill and momentum. Developed and published by Alejandro Hervella, the game follows Ava as she struggles to survive an alien invasion that has transformed the world into a dangerous battlefield. Rather than emphasizing a complex narrative, the game focuses on delivering satisfying gameplay through constant action, challenging encounters, and replayable level design. Its straightforward premise serves as a fitting backdrop for a title that is more concerned with testing the player's reflexes than telling an elaborate story. The gameplay revolves around keeping players in motion. Every stage demands quick reactions as Ava runs, jumps, slides, and dodges through hazardous environments packed with hostile extraterrestrial creatures. The controls are responsive, making movement feel natural even when the screen fills with enemies and environmental dangers. Success depends on learning attack patterns, maintaining precise timing, and making split-second decisions. The game avoids becoming repetitive by incorporating procedurally generated elements, ensuring that each run offers different enemy placements and obstacles. This randomized structure encourages players to improve their skills rather than relying solely on memorization. Combat is another highlight of the experience. Players gain access to four plutonium-powered weapons, each providing its own style of offense and encouraging different tactical approaches. Some situations reward aggressive firepower, while others require careful positioning and efficient resource management. The varied arsenal prevents combat from becoming monotonous, and the progressively stronger enemies introduce fresh challenges as players advance. Boss battles serve as memorable climactic encounters, demanding mastery of movement and weapon selection while providing satisfying tests of everything learned throughout the earlier stages. The game's visual presentation contributes significantly to its appeal. Instead of following the familiar pixel-art trend common among indie releases, Aliens After Ava features colorful hand-drawn artwork that gives the world a distinctive personality. Character animations are smooth, enemy designs are imaginative, and the alien-infested environments successfully communicate both danger and adventure. Despite the intensity of the action, the visuals remain clear enough for players to identify threats quickly, which is essential in a game built around speed and precision. The artistic direction strikes a balance between vibrant aesthetics and functional gameplay readability. Audio also plays an important role in maintaining the game's momentum. Sound effects give weapons and enemy attacks satisfying impact, while the soundtrack reinforces the urgency of each encounter without overpowering the gameplay. Every successful dodge, well-placed shot, and defeated enemy contributes to an engaging rhythm that keeps players focused from beginning to end. The combination of music and sound design complements the game's arcade-inspired pacing and helps maintain excitement throughout every session. Although the current adventure consists of three primary stages, each ending with its own challenging boss, the game's roadmap promises meaningful expansion. Planned additions include new levels, more weapons, adjustable difficulty settings, Infinite Run and Boss Marathon modes, a relaxing Zen mode, and a backpack system featuring upgrades and collectible information. These planned features demonstrate a clear commitment to expanding replayability and giving returning players additional goals beyond simply completing the campaign. Aliens After Ava succeeds because it understands its strengths. It delivers responsive controls, satisfying combat, attractive visuals, and procedurally generated gameplay that encourages repeated playthroughs. While players seeking a lengthy story-driven campaign may find its content somewhat limited in its current form, those looking for a fast, skill-based action game will discover an enjoyable experience that rewards persistence and improvement. Its solid gameplay foundation and promising future updates make it an indie title worth watching. Rating: 9/10

I had a LOT of fun with this. Give it a try!
Game is good, presents some interesting mechanics with hand-drawn artstyle and well made animations. Only issue i can think of is lack of content, it takes 25-30 min to see it all.
Echt ein schönes Konzept. Habe das Spielchen LEIDER extrem übermüdet gespielt, demnach keine Konzentration mehr nach nem langen intensiven Tag... Also...
A cool short runner game with abilities and boss battles. Most notably, the game has a great art style where everything looks like sketches that still manage to capture a very eerie flair.
I LOVE this game. The art is so unique. The sounds are fun, gets you into an arcade mode, on the edge of your seat. This is one of my favorite shorter games to play through.
a short and nice game with good art style and a game you definitely should play
