Super fun and addictive TD with a great atmosphere and loads of cool upgrades
Хороший тавер дефенс, но гринд на прокачку немного затянут.
Nothing bad to say about this. Same charm as all of the Alien Shooter games but with a completely different tower-defense gameplay that works quite well. There is enough to upgrade/play with to keep it interesting: new weapons, soldier types, skills, consumable items, and more.

Прикольно
Alien Shooter TD successfully transforms the familiar formula of the Alien Shooter franchise into a hybrid experience that combines tower defense mechanics with tactical real-time action. Rather than relying entirely on automated towers, players take command of squads of heavily armed soldiers who can be positioned, upgraded, and equipped to withstand relentless alien invasions. This hands-on approach gives battles a more dynamic feel than traditional tower defense games, as every encounter requires constant decision-making instead of simply watching defenses operate on their own. The result is a game that retains the explosive action of its predecessors while introducing a welcome layer of strategic depth. The campaign throws players into a desperate war against an overwhelming extraterrestrial threat, sending them across numerous battlefields where every mission presents new tactical challenges. Enemy numbers steadily increase, introducing stronger alien variants and more demanding objectives that force players to rethink their approach. Effective resource management becomes just as important as firepower, since upgrading soldiers and purchasing better equipment directly influence survival. The gradual rise in difficulty keeps the campaign engaging while encouraging experimentation with different strategies instead of relying on a single winning formula. One of the game's greatest strengths lies in its flexible squad customization. Soldiers can specialize in various combat roles, and each class benefits from different weapon types and battlefield responsibilities. As players unlock stronger firearms and improve their troops through upgrades, the possibilities for creating effective defensive formations expand considerably. This customization system gives every mission a sense of progression and allows players to tailor their army to match their preferred tactical style. Whether focusing on overwhelming firepower, balanced defense, or specialized support units, the game rewards careful planning and adaptation. Combat remains faithful to the signature identity of the Alien Shooter series by filling the screen with enormous alien hordes and nonstop explosions. Watching hundreds of creatures charge toward defensive positions while squads unleash torrents of bullets creates an exhilarating spectacle that rarely loses its appeal. The game constantly demands quick reactions, requiring players to reposition troops, reinforce weak points, and make split-second decisions under pressure. Even during extended battles, the intensity rarely subsides, maintaining a satisfying balance between tactical planning and fast-paced action. The progression system adds another layer of long-term satisfaction. Completing missions rewards players with valuable resources used to unlock better weapons, improve soldier effectiveness, and strengthen future defenses. These upgrades feel meaningful because they noticeably change battlefield performance rather than providing only incremental improvements. Revisiting earlier missions with enhanced equipment also offers an enjoyable sense of growth, making previous challenges significantly more manageable while encouraging players to perfect their strategies. Visually, Alien Shooter TD embraces the classic isometric presentation that longtime fans will immediately recognize. Although the graphics are not designed to compete with modern visual showcases, they effectively support the gameplay by presenting clear battlefield layouts and impressive numbers of enemies simultaneously. Explosions, weapon effects, and environmental destruction contribute to the chaotic atmosphere, while the detailed alien designs help distinguish the many enemy types encountered throughout the campaign. Performance remains stable even during massive engagements, an important achievement considering the sheer number of enemies appearing on screen. The sound design reinforces the game's relentless pace with satisfying weapon effects, powerful explosions, and unsettling alien noises that heighten the tension during every encounter. Background music complements the science fiction setting by maintaining an energetic tone without overwhelming the action. Together, the audio and visual presentation create an immersive battlefield where every successful defense feels hard-earned and rewarding. Despite its many strengths, the game is not entirely free from shortcomings. Certain mission structures can become repetitive as players repeatedly defend similar objectives against increasingly larger enemy waves. Some progression may require replaying stages to earn additional resources, which can slow the pacing for players seeking constant variety. The user interface is practical but somewhat dated, and newcomers expecting a straightforward action shooter may initially struggle to adjust to the greater emphasis on tactical positioning and resource management. However, these issues do little to diminish the overall enjoyment once players become familiar with the game's mechanics. Alien Shooter TD stands as an effective blend of two genres that rarely intersect so successfully. It preserves the franchise's trademark large-scale alien slaughter while introducing thoughtful strategic elements that add depth and replayability. The rewarding progression, satisfying customization options, challenging campaign, and intense battles create an experience that feels both familiar and refreshingly different. Fans of tactical defense games looking for more direct control over combat, as well as longtime Alien Shooter enthusiasts interested in a fresh take on the series, will likely find this entry both entertaining and worthwhile. It is straight forward. No randomize factors into the gameplay.
A tower defense spin-off of the Alien Shooter series (just found out it's a series). Is as basic as it gets, but playable and in a retro kind of way.
