In this world, three races — humans, sprites, and kindred — coexist with their own unique cultures. Some races are on good terms with each other, such as humans and sprites, while others may not get along as well, such as sprites and kindred, but they all live together more or less harmoniously.

Video Review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f81rLNZ1rCk In Summary: I really enjoyed the art and characters but sadly the gameplay isn't as deep as Recettear. I had fun with this but I do wonder if that was because I really wanted another shopkeeping game. The lack of graphical and sound options is big issue, particularly the sound as it is INCREDIBLY loud. I'm pretty lukewarm about this one but I'll give it a recommend because I didn't hate it.. However, I'd say only give this a shot if it's cheap or if you badly want a game like this.
Cheaper Recettear clone.
Game full of Bug Game crash in tutorial no way to play it No Fullscreen option and realy limited option.... 15$ for that ? are you serious? Don't even consider buying it total rip off......
It's Recettier with half the Capitalism. The game also suffers from cringeworthy dialogue. I almost refunded in the first 20mins, but decided to keep playing it to see if the gameplay had more depth than the braindead MC. Spoilers: It doesn't.
I'm only saying "Not Recommend" because there is no middle ground for Steam reviews. As many other reviewers have stated: Recettear is better in every way compared to AL-FINE. If Recettear didn't exist then I'd at least recommend this game for what it is. However, every second I played of this game made me want to go back to Recettear. So, I did. It isn't, neccisarily, a "bad" game. However, there is a much better alternative on Steam that deserves your money much more than AL-FINE. If you've played Recettear a hundred times and a hurting for something the same, but different. Go for AL-FINE. Otherwise, just stick with the cute girl and the loan-shark fairy.
So many glitches, at one point all the English turned off and it became only Japanese and as I cannot read Kanji I was at a bit of a loss. Seeing as I spent MONEY for this... Not a fan. I'll give it another try because it's a waste if I don't, but so far I'm dissapointed.
Target Audience: Casual Simulator fans that want a touching story Summary: If you're expecting Recettear 2.0, you're setting your expectations too high. Don't get me wrong, it follows the formula of that cult game, and it's still worth a look at, but it doesn't have the variety of that game. Basically, this game lives on its charm factor. The touching saturday morning cartoon type of story: where friendship wins over all. And no, this isn't cringe like some of those cartoons are, there's actually some good writing here thanks to character interaction and actually caring about those characters. The visuals are hit and miss, with the visual novel portions of the cutscenes really working well, especially with the character models. Where the game stumbles is the gameplay. The strategy is basic but does work at first, with secret trends as well as more obvious trends then you can take advantage of. It's just doesn't have enough power over time, and becomes a bit repetitive, and yet have specific strategies that you have to follow. And it has technical problems with a lack of options as well as some performance issues. Regardless however, the game still was worth playing, thanks to that charm factor I mentioned. Video Review: https://youtu.be/jjFg2492yNo Lists: Positives:

A charming Saturday morning cartoon story here. It's about friendship and overcoming adversity, but that's in a good way.
I know I just said this: but charm. It's presentation and story combination that makes things just a happy time.
Base gameplay does work from a casual simulation view point. Higher difficulties definitely provide the challenge that you'd want for the first few hours of gameplay.
Casually, the game is relaxing and is able to take the stress out.
Good difficulty curve. Easy doesn't require ♥♥♥♥, while hard means you really got to pay attention to every element.
Music is reasonable for a smaller indie game. It feels like being on happy drugs most of the time. I like happy drugs.
Negatives:

Some significant texture loading bugs, that can cause some problems when trying to save. For a game that doesn't have a lot of technical prowess, this is a bit of a problem.
No real options. A slider (in a gallery) for audio, but no fullscreen/resolution options. And technical issues with textures loading.
Over time, it loses steam in terms of gameplay. It needed one or two secondary elements specific to the items to add to the different strategies available.
In particular, it needed more items. Just more.
The sound design is pretty bad all around. No real ambient sounds really hurts the game in the simulation sections, just to add SOMETHING to the gameplay. Semi decent game but its a cheap copy of Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale(recommend you play that first before this) If you fix the annoying bugs will be a lot better Bugs: Cant full screen Will randomly switch languages Textures bug out and will go black requiring game restart
- No settings - Only small Window Mode with ONLY 1024x768 - Looks like Recettear, but boring - I don`t have fun with playing - And the price for this?? no to high. I say no/nein or nine xD: https://youtu.be/xoMgnJDXd3k
