Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 23 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

In the 90s this game made me want to go to school the next day and punch my friends in their stupid f*cking faces. Thankfully they added an infinite lives option in this version which prevents the urge to punch school children. It's definitely frustrating, the rock paper scissors boss fights aren't good. But it's still a great game (nostalgia speaking there for sure)

. Fazit: .
Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX is not so much a game as it is a beautifully restored emotional injury. On the surface, it is a bright, charming remake of a classic Master System platformer. The visuals are lovely, the music has been nicely brought back to life, and with one button you can flick between the shiny new version and the original, which is a neat little feature if you want to remind yourself what happiness looked like through a 1980s television and mild childhood resentment. But underneath the fresh paint, this is still Alex Kidd. Which means you will jump. You will slide slightly too far. You will punch the air beside an enemy with great confidence. You will die because something brushed your ankle with the authority of a small angry god. And then you will sit there, controller in hand, quietly remembering why you hated the outside world for several years. I loved it. This game took me straight back to being a teenager in my self-loathing era, when the world was stupid, people were annoying, and apparently the best use of my time was guiding a large-eared child through a hostile kingdom where every fish, bird, rock, frog and old man playing rock-paper-scissors wanted me dead. The DX version does a good job of respecting the original. Maybe too good. It has kept the charm, the weirdness, the awkward movement, the ridiculous boss encounters, and that very specific feeling of being personally insulted by level design. The optional infinite lives are a welcome addition, because I am now an adult with responsibilities and cannot afford to replace controllers just because Alex decided to handle like a shopping trolley on gravel. It is short. It is dated. It is occasionally unfair. New players may reasonably ask why anyone enjoyed this in the first place. The answer is simple: we were different then. We had rectangle controllers, no internet, and unresolved emotional grit. But as a nostalgia trip, this is excellent. It is colourful, strange, punishing, silly, and somehow still full of heart. It reminded me of a time when games did not care about your feelings, your schedule, or your blood pressure. Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX is a faithful remake of a game that made me angry decades ago, and somehow I am grateful to be angry at it again. You have been warned.
It's a classic 8-bit game with a facelift. Updated graphics and sound, nothing else whatsoever. All the old twitchy controls are still there, meaning an enemy will kill you if it brushes past you, platforming is beyond frustrating, particularly if you got killed and needed an item to make a level bearable. It's a slice of nostalgia, but you can get the same thing from an emulator, with the added benefit of save state etc. All the extra play modes are locked away, presumably until you beat a very difficult to beat game, so can't really recommend over saving money and using emulation
Nostalgia pura !
為什麼會出現打不死又一直跟蹤我的巫師?
just like the original, way too dificult without infinite lives. almost threw my controller as i did when i played it the first time.
Bem divertido
