Decent, very decent. Artstyle is solid: liked how bright everything is, colors are fresh, mc design is laconic, but cute. Gamplay: well, it's a 2d platformer with metroidvania elements. Being a masohistic sone of a gun, I played on second most hard difficulty — it is playable, but I think lower difficulties will be much more fun to play in general. Platforming is alright, some starting sections were a little bit... "how on earth I can jump THERE", but then you do jump there and that's kinda pleasing. High cartisol, all of that. Either way, do try it — it is worth at least that.
The combat surprised me. It actually has some depth once you unlock more moves. The arts are gorgeous too, making the whole experience worth it.

Akatori has been a really pleasant surprise! I especially love the visuals they’re vibrant atmospheric, and full of character. The game also feels very well-balanced the difficulty is engaging without becoming frustrating, which makes you want to keep moving forward.I’m having a great time with it and will definitely keep playing.
It is quite a nice game to get cozy with a gamepad and just enjoy yourself...or so I thought xd The game is really pretty and that was partly the reason I got into it, but it's much more than that. It can be hard, a bit frustrating for players who are not into platformers and yet it makes it engaging. When you take it seriously it becomes entertainment. It was my fault to treat it like something it wasn't. Not a relaxing adventure I expected, but a challenge that became fun in the end, so I think this game makes more sense like that. The art is GORGEOUS but I think it would be better if the main character was in that pixilated 3d style, sometimes she feels too flat or can get lost in the action. I really enjoyed how vibrant and colorful everything was, big thumbs up to the team!
The 2D and 3D mix looks great, and I liked the overall vibe. Definitely worth it!
Cool game.
