Fight different types of enemies and boss fights in intense situations and ever-changing, rich environments. Dodge barrages of bullets, take down the bad guys, and save the world.

The full game introduces several campaign levels with different modes and extra challenges to play through. You will fight in various environments, saving the president from a hijacked airplane or chasing a military helicopter across rooftops during a bank robbery heist. Rescue a hostage in an exotic villa or face the legendary war pilot on top of a skyscraper.
Unlock a wide selection of weapons, each with unique skins and special effects.
Enemies won’t be your only challenge. You can test your skills in different aim challenges and modes available for each level. For less-experienced players, an Easy mode is available; for those seeking a tougher experience, each level includes a One-Life difficulty or even an Insta-Death mode.
Think you have the best and fastest aim? We’ve set up a global leaderboard to find out who the best arcade shooter in the world truly is. As a PS2 light gun owner, I couldn't resist the VR adaptation of the rail shooter genre. The constant reloading and those same sounds hit a nostalgic chord that I don't mind being pressed. You can also choose the arcade pistol models, ooohhhhh... But how could I have done so many things wrong? Why, instead of enjoying it, was I losing my nerve and wanting to smash my headset while playing on the easiest settings? Why are there such glares and poor lighting in the first two locations (plane) that I can't even see where the enemies are? I understand the creative idea that I should see the mask's red eyes in the dark, but those eyes aren't that bright and blend in with the surroundings. There's a good mechanic here where you have to dodge bullets with your head, which makes the game very dynamic. Buut It just doesn't work well because some enemies shoot not only if you don't succeed in killing them quickly, but also right from the doorway. You walk in and a yellow flashlight might fly at your forehead, it hangs for half a second, but that's still a pretty short time, this isn't Superhot, and okay, hardcore and all that, but the game doesn't give any indication that damage is incoming. A ninja can spawn next to you and pound you while you're aiming upwards, or enemies can spawn somewhere in the corner of the screen, where you can't even see... Let me remind you that the developers also like to use smoke to make enemies hard to see, and apparently dev didn't test the game on Quest 2 and 3S, which only have a 90-degree field of view, not 110 like on more modern models. Yes, these are just a couple of moments, but they really ruin the whole experience. And I played on Easy difficulty, and for some reason, even the leaderboard is unavailable.. By the middle of the game, most enemies are armored and require a headshot, most of them! Personally, my hands are shaking quite a bit, and literally every millimeter is important for aiming. Why didn't the developers implement some kind of minimal aim stabilization? I'm not complaining about trivial things, but about things that are key to gameplay. The only thing that saved me was the abuse of the dodge mechanics, because I was literally crouching with my whole body to dodge bullets constantly; bullets simply couldn't catch my constantly spinning head. Even so, the levels with timers were painful. But by the way, there's a very fair and smooth dodge mechanic specifically for the machine gunner enemy: you just need to draw a smooth, leisurely circle with your head and then shoot him in the gas pack from behind. And I finally made it to the helicopter boss, and it's beautifully done. Although it's also difficult, BUT it's fair. There, for the first time, you're allowed to freely rotate 360 degrees on the roof (before that, there are also sections with (QTE-squatting), there's a sound indicator and you can quickly react to the boss. His voice brutally teases you. It has several stages that gradually become more difficult and do not shock you suddenly. In the end, despite everything, I enjoyed the game, but I also paid for it, and I don't understand the other 100% positive reviews. Visually the game is also quite simple and inexpressive, it has only a great nostalgic concept + a well-made boss The game isn't even in Early Access, and I'd be happy to change my rating if the game's issues are fixed.
Absolutely excellent. One of the most fun experiences I’ve had in VR since HL Alyx. If you ever grew up in the Time Crisis era I’m confident you’ll enjoy this. Sure it’s relatively limited in terms of long term scope, as was Time Crisis. There aren’t a million levels here and some of them are repeated in reverse but the developers have done an excellent job of adding replay-ability to this game. There’s things to unlock. There’s challenges. Collectibles. Different difficulty levels and leaderboards. All providing reasons I want to come back I played a lot of the Demo of this game, I recommend trying that out if you’re curious. But it looks excellent, it plays perfectly, the music is great, the destructible environments are a great addition. It’s an Arcade style game by design. Perfect for picking up in short bursts though difficult to put down. Oh, and you’ll likely break out a sweat after a bit too. I’d love to see where this goes in future, DLC? Multiplayer some how? I’d especially like to see events in a run that cause different paths through levels to open up. And finally, a House of the Dead themed game perhaps? In conclusion though, if you like the look of the game from the trailer and demo you won’t be disappointed. And at this price point, probably one of the best value for money VR titles available. Outstanding work
This is exactly what you think it is and it is very good. It is also very difficult. But the whole point is to play the levels multiple times like in the classic arcade versions. 10/10.
Simple, yet polished, and fun! Thank you so much for adding basic customization options such as controller rotation and offset, that should be the standard for *all* VR games. A few requests to improve this game even further: - Ironsight color customizability (would love to keep the rear sights green and make the front one yellow, for example) - Off-hand should be always visible for immersion, and putting it next to the main hand should grip the pistol two-handed (purely visual, but feels nice -- I like to shoot two-handed) - Ability to disable the "reload"/"stage clear" sounds
There are many lightgun games on VR and this one is by far the best. The aim issue with other games is the weightless feel of your shots and the lack of visual and auditory feedback. And the classic arcade plastic gun model with the Time Crisis style red flashes when you shoot an enemy. It's just perfect.
This is absolutely my new favorite obsession. Aim Assault is just pure VR Arcade shooter at its best. I spent 2 hours last night breaking records on the leaderboards. That is a chase I haven't felt for a while and love it. It's just a great game and does what it promises in many ways. Definitely a game to add to your collection as it's also a great game for new to VR players.
I believe there is no better example to demonstrate how perfect the "rail shooter" genre mixes with VR, it is crazy to remember all the times playing "TIME CRISIS" and similar games like "VIRTUA COP" or "HOUSE OF THE DEAD" at the arcade, and today I find myself literally inside the game literally dodging bullets and shooting like crazy. A must play if you enjoy shooter style games in VR, hope to see more like this in the future!
Un vrai TIME CRISIS VR !!!
