As someone who really loved the PS2 and PS3 Stuntman games, I really had a lot of fun with this game. The art style is very bright and out there, the story is like a lighter James Bond movie or any other spy thriller really. I thought the voice actors did a very decent job, especially for a lower budget game. The missions were actually really fun to play through. even though they were all a similar style, each mission and side mission had just enough new in it to make each one feel unique, Especially the final mission of the game, an absolutely crazy rollercoaster ride that I was totally not prepared for but loved very much. plus the vehicle transformations were very fun and added a ton of variety. The drifting had a nice arcadey smoothness to it and it absolutely never got old, same as the weapon animations such as missile launches. The game has very action packed cutscenes that happen throughout the missions that I enjoyed, but it was nice to be able to skip them quickly for subsequent playthroughs. l I know many people complained about having to beat side objectives to advance the story, but that did not bother me at all, You really only need to beat 2 or 3 out of 5 bonus objectives in each mission to advance the whole story, and you automatically get one for just beating the mission. Plus, you pretty much always get 1 or 2 more just naturally from playing without even thinking about it. I was able to get 100% on all missions with only a few that took me more than 2 or 3 tries, and I'm not even that good at games. I just don't feel the complaints were justified, but I understand everyone is different. So if you enjoyed those early console spy vehicles games or just want a fun arcadey action game with a light but fun story, this one is worth the money.
very fun
Trop deg !
If you have black screen upon start - change language region in windows to english. Fast paced game with side objectives. Which are little harder than they should be. Finished the game without assist mode. Each story mission was fun.
If you like Spy Hunter and/or Cars 2. You are only driving and its automatic like on rails. The camera is over the shoulder not behind or inside. Which is my only complaint. Different weapon pickups. Only took me 5 hours to finish.
Really fun arcade action racer with a great spy soundtrack.
The game isn't perfect, but it's fun. One thing that almost ruined the game for me is constant Yelling of HQ Agent (Jen), and it gets really annoying after a while. It was frustrating enough that I ended up skipping the story dialogue multiple times.
To be clear, when I say I was a huge fan of Spy Hunter I'm talking about the arcade game. The remakes and sequels and other later Spy Hunter stuff was never as good. Agent Intercept "Scratches" my Spy Hunter "itch" in ways I haven't felt in a long while. True it's missing the Johnny Gun music. But I'll live. The switch to pseudo 3D worked better than other more truly 3D versions so it's got that going for it. Overall, I'm happy with it. (You don't hear me say THAT often.) I do recommend this game.
