Engage in pulse-pounding shootouts against cutting-edge enemy AI straight out of the futuristic realm of 1997.
Embark on 14 daring missions as Secret Agent John Walter, an elite operative tasked with saving the world from his arch-nemesis, Dominic Pulp. Protect the future against the phantoms of the past.
Traverse skyscrapers, nightclubs, museums, catacombs, and snow bases in a heart-pumping journey of espionage.
Play the entire campaign as a one-man army or alongside friends via split-screen and online cooperative play!
Each story mission is a self-contained environment where you have to accomplish varied objectives, such as hacking terminals, stealing secret plans, freeing civilian hostages, and much more… all while fighting armed guards in epic shootouts, of course.
3 Difficulty Levels
Every mission can be completed in 3 distinct difficulty modes (Agent, Special Agent, and 64 Agent). With higher difficulty comes more objectives, and more open areas to discover.
(Tip: Start with Agent to familiarize yourself with the missions, then ramp up the difficulty to discover what comes next.)
By beating par times and other trials, you can unlock Paradox Modes, which contain 70+ modifiers and cheats that enable various effects on regular gameplay, including:
Big Heads
Melee Disarms
Slow Bullet Speeds
No Reload
…and many more!
Ready for an unorthodox challenge? Complete Contracts: remixed missions with different objectives and Paradox mode pre-sets for additional Paradox unlocks.
Fight against friends in local split-screen multiplayer combat, or take the gunfight online with up to 8 players and 8 additional bots.
Enjoy full lobby customization including teams, weapon set, rule sets and paradox modifiers, with up to 10 saved pre-sets to your liking.
Deathmatch: Classic deathmatch, score the more frags to win!
Briefcase: Capture the briefcase and hold it for long enough to score a point. But don't get too comfortable, after each point won, the briefcase position is reset to a random point on the map.
Zone: You have to capture the zone on the map to score points. Don't let any enemy contest it as it will stall the countdown!
Challenges: special matches against pre-set bots where players must reach a precise score under a certain amount of time. The faster you win, the better the prizes. Unlock maps, characters, music tracks, and more!

Agent 64: Spies Never Die is a fun game. The story is pretty short, but learning the maps and rerunning on the highest difficulty and completing the challenges are a blast! It plays very similar to Goldeneye: 64.
Captures the nostalgia perfectly. Also the controlls are done verry well with mouse and keyboard. It´s a hommage to Golden Eye and done right. My only complaint is that there is no train level... I would suggest playing it form the beginning on, atleast on agent, than you don´t have to repeat missions (honestly some ar so good, that I repeated theam on special agent).

really appreciate how far someone can go with a game. really reminiscent of goldeneye style games and a good amount of challenges and secrets. good story too. cool to see this style of game arise this year. thanks for making it
Very close to greatness. It's extremely fun on the campaign side. Colors and Lighting is very well placed and catch the mood quite good. Definitely a Thumbs up on the music aswell. Some levels are quite tough to almost unfair in my opinion, but this could very well be a skill issue on my end. Brought me back to the Goldeneye Days, but tries to have a little unique spin on it! Absolutely recommend.
Agent 64 stands out as being such a unique game for this day and age. It really feels like I jumped back 20 years and played a new game of that time. It leans into that with it's controls which feel wonky at first but over time I grew to love them. It really gives the game such a unique flavor. Co-op was welcome and a really fun time. The star of the show was the level design and to me it even beats out some of the greats like Doom 2016. The levels all feel unique and what they have you doing feels interactive and not just the same combat encounters with moderately different landscapes around. It's a game with a lot of charm that doesn't overstayed it's welcome and allowed me to re-experience a piece of gaming history (that's at least what it felt like).
This game is on the short side, but it is a masterpiece of retro gaming goodness that all people should at least consider trying. It scratches that Goldeneye/Perfect Dark itch perfectly. My only complaint is that no one is playing the Online multiplayer and that makes me sad.
This game being a "GE64 clone", you would think things like a LARGE weapon roster or even the ability to dual wield (since the combat is extremely basic to begin with, you would think something so small could make it into the game easily.) Another issue is general lack of quality imo, its weird seeing cool details IN THE TRAILER that get undone in the game, not to mention something as simple as the achievement icons are straight up just the games splash art but cropped weird repeatedly? im not one to care too much about that sort of thing, but it doesnt feel like a creative decision and instead feels EXTREMELY LAZY. NOT worth 20$ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dollars. (Also the soundtrack is kinda boring and nowhere near as catchy as the material they were inspired from)
Após os Soulslike, agora é a era dos Goldeneyelikes!
Luzes pré definidas, inimigos com rostos repetidos, falta de animações para recargas de armas, texturas borradas, level design às vezes meio "labirinto", jogabilidade travada... E espionagem. Muita espionagem! Indispensável para quem cresceu jogando Goldeneye, Perfect Dark e The World is Not Enough no Nintendo 64. Embora melhor resolução e taxa de quadros, Agent 64 captura perfeitamente a essência e experiência de jogar os clássicos do N64.
I know it's supposed to be like GoldenEye, but some of the later story stuff has me screaming TimeSplitters instead. Either way, it's up to par, even if my times never will be!
So far so good. Currently have beaten just the first three missions on all three difficulties plus each mission's par times, which I swear the first and third missions are already rivaling Goldeneye 007's Facility 00 Agent Target Time in terms of difficulty. That's how you know the devs are balancing the game around old school shooter players.
