Embark on 14 daring missions as Secret Agent John Walter, an elite operative tasked with saving the world from his arch-nemesis, Dominic Pulp. Protect the future against the phantoms of the past.

Each story mission is a self-contained environment where you have to accomplish varied objectives, such as hacking terminals, stealing secret plans, freeing civilian hostages, and much more… all while fighting armed guards in epic shootouts, of course.
3 Difficulty Levels
Every mission can be completed in 3 distinct difficulty modes (Agent, Special Agent, and 64 Agent). With higher difficulty comes more objectives, and more open areas to discover.
(Tip: Start with Agent to familiarize yourself with the missions, then ramp up the difficulty to discover what comes next.)
By beating par times and other trials, you can unlock Paradox Modes, which contain 70+ modifiers and cheats that enable various effects on regular gameplay, including:
Big Heads
Melee Disarms
Slow Bullet Speeds
No Reload
…and many more!
Ready for an unorthodox challenge? Complete Contracts: remixed missions with different objectives and Paradox mode pre-sets for additional Paradox unlocks.
Fight against friends in local split-screen multiplayer combat, or take the gunfight online with up to 8 players and 8 additional bots.
Enjoy full lobby customization including teams, weapon set, rule sets and paradox modifiers, with up to 10 saved pre-sets to your liking.
Deathmatch: Classic deathmatch, score the more frags to win!
Briefcase: Capture the briefcase and hold it for long enough to score a point. But don't get too comfortable, after each point won, the briefcase position is reset to a random point on the map.
Zone: You have to capture the zone on the map to score points. Don't let any enemy contest it as it will stall the countdown!
Challenges: special matches against pre-set bots where players must reach a precise score under a certain amount of time. The faster you win, the better the prizes. Unlock maps, characters, music tracks, and more!

Reviews
AI stupidly hard, aim assist is garbage and doesn't lock targets most of the time, lack of story advancement without cyphers which require player to have to deal with higher difficulty levels with even stupidly harder AI that never misses shots. Game's named wrong, it should be "Agent ZERO" for zero stars! Save your money and DON'T buy this, instead buy a PROPER shooter like Postal 2 or Postal 4
If youre a fan of old school fps's like goldeneye or perfect dark this is the game for you and there is online co op and multiplayer with bots.

Agent 64 stands out as being such a unique game for this day and age. It really feels like I jumped back 20 years and played a new game of that time. It leans into that with it's controls which feel wonky at first but over time I grew to love them. It really gives the game such a unique flavor. Co-op was welcome and a really fun time. The star of the show was the level design and to me it even beats out some of the greats like Doom 2016. The levels all feel unique and what they have you doing feels interactive and not just the same combat encounters with moderately different landscapes around. It's a game with a lot of charm that doesn't overstayed it's welcome and allowed me to re-experience a piece of gaming history (that's at least what it felt like).
LOOKS LIKE PEAK IS BACK ON THE MENU BOYS
It feels like playing the original. It's great! However, it is a bit too expensive for what it is IMO. It is worth every penny though, I just don't want to pay that much for a game I will barely play. Haven't tried the multiplayer though. Refunding it for now. Will come back to this one on a sale.
games amazing. if you like goldeneye you'll love this.
great game, though there's some slight framerate issues that I guess will be fixed at some point.
Game #8 of (716): Agent 64: Spies Never Die Time Played: 4.8 Hours Status: Finished First Impressions The music instantly reminds me of the Pierce Brosnan James Bond movies. Looking at the first menu, it lists Story, Co-op, and Arena Online though seeing only 1 lobby in online mode might be a bad sign? Starting with the Story, mission objectives change depending on your chosen difficulty. I went straight for the hardest setting, "64 Agent," so I could experience everything the game has to offer right off the bat. You start out in a room with a fake Nintendo 64, no crosshair on screen, chill music playing, and nostalgic graphics featuring funny, smushed-face character models. An "agent" tells his men to be careful, and that's pretty much all the setup you get before you're thrown into the action. The penthouse level seems to serve as the main character's house/first level. Gameplay & Mechanics Retro Movement & Survival: There is no jumping and there are no health packs anywhere. Finding armor helps buffer your HP so you don't take direct health damage, but having no way to heal on longer missions adds a ton of tension. That tension easily turns into frustration, though, if you end up dying and having to restart a 10-minute level. Certain environmental objects like fridges blow up when shot, which is a neat touch, but destroyable boxes never drop any loot, which feels like a big missed opportunity. Accidental destruction is a factor too blowing up a mission critical computer during a chaotic gunfight pops an achievement, but it forces an immediate level restart. Mission Progression & Cyphers: Starting a new mission right where the last one ended strips away all the guns you just collected, presumably for balance. My biggest gripe is the Cypher progression system having to go back and replay missions on the other difficulties to collect Cyphers just to unlock Act 4 feels like an artificial roadblock rather than a fun challenge. Cyphers would feel so much more rewarding if they unlocked loadouts, weapons, armor, or classic N64 style cheats like Big Head Mode. Map Variety & Details: The maps seem slightly procedural because door locks and armor spawns shift around between runs. This keeps things from feeling completely repetitive when you're forced to replay levels. On the narrative side, the lack of voice acting makes it tricky to read dialogue pop-ups while actively shooting enemies. The environments look great especially the castle level, which has the best soundtrack in the game. The small attention to detail is awesome too, like your agent adjusting his tie at the end of a mission if he's facing the camera. Story Confusion: The narrative gets a bit confusing at times. Your daughter randomly ends up in a cell with you I assume she was captured earlier but somehow she already has a gun? The villain steals her "mother's pendant" because it acts as a key he's been searching for all along. I wasn't entirely clear on what was happening, but, it keeps moving. Standout Feature Nailing the nostalgic GoldenEye 007 vibe. The N64-era visual style, objective-based difficulty scaling, punchy weapon feel, and charming spy tropes like the end-of-level tie adjustment capture that classic retro shooter spirit brilliantly. Verdict With 14 missions in total, it's a genuinely fun game, but it feels overpriced for what you get. I finished it in under 5 hours while taking my time, and you could easily breeze through it in 2 to 3. If you enjoy repeating levels for higher challenges or have friends to play co-op and arena modes with, you'll likely get your money's worth. It's a solid, nostalgic tribute to GoldenEye with just a few minor design annoyances. I picked it up on sale for £17.47, but even at a discount, it feels a bit steep for the amount of content provided.
Excellent gameplay. Felt like I was back in time playing 007 GoldenEye and Perfect Dark on the N64 and the art style felt like playing the TimeSplitter series. The cheat (Paradox) system is amazing but there seems to be one cheat missing.... ALL GUNS. It would be great to have that cheat unlockable to pair with Infinite Ammo. Otherwise, GREAT GAME! :)
If you look at this game and think "Hey, that looks like a game I'd play, is it any good?" then absolutely yes, grab it. If you look at it and go "OMG when was this game made?" then... you know what, get, you missed out on one of the objectively most fun eras of gaming and you need to experience it. Don't play it like a normal modern shooter, just hold a loose aim, let aim assist do the rest and focus on the flow between firing on positions and moving. Story wise, so far it hits. It's that perfect, on the nose, allude to way more going on than what the player knows about that turns this from just a weird retro shooter to a true expression of what gaming was.
