Story time: When I was a kid- I'm talking like 7-8 years old, I found this game (the original, not this remake) in the bargain bin at a Walgreens. I WAS ABSOLUTE ♥♥♥♥ AT IT. Great game, but I was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrible. I had to use cheats to get through the most basic missions. Now back then, my mother was afraid of me getting groomed on the internet or whatever so I wasn't allowed to play online with ANYONE on ANY GAME. But one day, I worked up the courage to do it anyways. I played one match of this game. We start up, he sends his Pegasus scout (it has no attack and is therefore only used for scouting) over to my base to see what I am building. I start as Zeus so I have a lightning bolt (one use instant kill one unit ability) that usually is used on something high value. Stupidly, I zap his pegasus (that he started with for free I think due to his god). I then, out of pure habit attempt to use the DIVINE INTERVENTION cheat in the chat box to get my lightning bolt back. It obviously doesn't work and my opponent responds with "lol that doesnt work online". Out of sheer embarrassment I immediately closed the game and to this day it's the only online AOM game I have ever played. One last thing however: when I typed the DIVINE INTERVENTION cheat, I mistyped it as "DIVINE INTRVENTION". This means the cheat wouldn't have worked even in campaign. I still to this day sometimes think about "what if I had just spelled it right...?"

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 30: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Yeah so um... this is a game and it is working
バグり散らかしてまともに遊べない
Great game, Great potential. BUT hear me out... What if there was small events that take place on the map such as a God spawning somewhere and if you find them you can give a offering for in return a Relic of your choice or a additional Power. if you chose not to give offering then they use their powers against your Kingdom. if you chose to fight them then its a boss battle but you receive resources etc also adding a day-time setting and more structures such as house variety that increase population( increase of production and Favor in the area) -implementing pathways we can create for workers( for decoration and increase in speed) -Settlements unclaimed are a passive Kingdom(ai that drops 1 relic once conquered) -ability to TYPE THE AMOUNT YOU WANT TO TRADE WITH ANOTHER PLAYER/AI AT THE MARKET
ดีเล่นเถอะนะ
A little dissapointed that they have the same difficulty presets as the original but add 'Ludicrous' as the new hardest setting. So far playing on this setting has been laughably easy compared to the original game. I dissaprove of the voice acting changes but you can mod 80% of it back to the original. Wouldn't mind a mod that removes the silly 2D dialogue box that wastes space on the screen. Still a good game for a bit of casual fun but not a defining classic like AoM and AOE2. I would just buy the base game on sale and cruise through the visuals for a different experience but highly recommend the original for those who haven't played it yet over this glow up... btw I've spent 100s of hours playing the origianl AOM because it's my favorite of all AOE titles. Will be continuing to play Retold to finish hardest difficulty
A remaster done well
