Good
For a free game this game is amazing it reminds me a lot of the old Warcraft game but a little more in depth with allowing the player to make they're own decisions infact it feels like that is what this game is not gonna lie been looking for a game like this not only that highly modifiable added my own unit/heroes to the game although they are not the mains they feel just as important . This game deserves a spot an anyone library. it actually best quite a few games in game play and replayability.... in fact this game has so much replaybility it a sin not to remake a new game to see a new set of champs and explore a new way to play.
It's free and I had lots of fun having my different units run around and kill stuff. Let's you figure out if you like playing their other games so give it a try if you want. Ain't bad at all.
Just stick to this game and don't spend any more money, trust me. The only thing different about this than the other games is that the other games have a light novel story. Not that it means anything, those stories are pulp to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ marrow, to the pith, seeped into the core of the hardest tendon. It is generic, highschool level writing, with no dash of peculiarity or personality that even pcorn writing is better. Reading it feels like toiling in mud in the middle of nowhere while a diarrhea goes on in ur butt that doesn't quite come out. That might be an exaggeration but the truth is that this is one of those boring stuff that never flows. The gameplay is fine-----I actually enjoyed it-----, they should just focused on that. Instead of making a series of these pathetic excuse of games that no one cares about. And they are all so expensive yet they are all the same, even the "side quests". The excuse here is that each game have its own unique story to the factions it allowed you to play; so they can justify putting a 20 and even 40 dollar price tag on these games. There is a reason this series existed for over a decade and no one gave a damn about it.
Is a pretty good game actually! Might need a certain mindset to like it tho. I haven't really checked it out but at first glance the game might coat a bit too much I'd say.
At first, the game looks interesting, a bit hardcore, and you anticipate various mechanics like using the landscape, traps, building, creating berserkers, and an army of archers protected by tanks. However, as time goes on, you realize that there's nothing in this game, and you have nothing to do except hide in a corner and wait for enemies, clicking the mouse without hotkeys each time - waiting button. After 3-4 rounds when the enemy approaches you, the worst part begins - click on a unit, move the camera, click on an enemy unit, deal 0-1 damage to them, repeat this 150 times per battle, and get nothing in return except armor that you can sell for 25-250 coins. By the way, 1 mage or knight costs 1200 coins; I played for 8 hours and still didn't reach the mages. After leveling up the hero to an elite level, battles became unreasonably difficult, the number of enemies increased three to four times, but the rewards remained the same. I thought about trying the paid version of the game where they introduced a campaign and kingdom building (caravans), but I was shocked by the pricing policy of such an underdeveloped and niche game. Keep in mind that it's already version 9.x.x.x, but it feels like this game has never been improved. The battle screen is tiny, and in the distant view, you can't see enemies and their effects properly. In full-screen mode, the game lags terribly. There are no hotkeys in a game where they are essential. In the guild, you constantly have to hit the exit button to go back to the main map. The menu is terrible, unit leveling is inconvenient, and each unit can only level up one ability at a time... No thanks, I've had enough of this cookie clicker.
Immediately I rolled my eyes after starting the undead campaing: Why the zombies got a T-shirt and pants? They looks like ex-car salesmen. I thought this was some fantasy medieval game, so this sight broke the immersion right at the beginning.. it felt so stupid.. Also, feels, looks and plays like a clunky & mediocre windows game from 1998. I like nostalgia but not the crappy side of nostalgia..
