About

Build, Gather and Fight in a Desperate Last Stand Against an Onslaught of Never Ending Evil!
The darkness is an entity of evil. Some say it is the manifestation of human fear and nightmares, others say it is a wandering mass of damned souls haunting us. The origin of the darkness itself is unknown, but one thing for certain is that we can keep it at bay through the power of light and fire.
The complete, full release of Age of Darkness: Final Stand is available now and includes Co-operative Multiplayer, Campaign, and Survival modes.

Brace yourself against huge tidal waves of Nightmares. Leveraging an internally developed technology called ‘SwarmTech’ allows the game to render over 70,000 enemy units on the screen at one time. These enemy legions claw their way up through seething fissures in the earth to reinforce ‘The Veil’.

Light up a rich, complex, procedurally generated map to claim territory back from ‘The Veil’. A dynamic living death fog that conceals enemies and drains life from your troops. Holding the line against this terror is not for the faint of heart.

Borrowing from the the roguelite genre, Malices are random afflictions placed on the player during every Death Night, unraveling the best made plans. Conversely, if a Death Night is survived, you may decide between three randomly selected Blessings, enriching the experience and giving your army a much needed edge.

Lead the charge against the horrors of the night with powerful and unique Heroes. Using special abilities gained from leveling up, these Heroes can be key to turning the tide of a desperate battle. But beware, the Nightmares have Elite roaming champions of their own that drop precious resources when killed, posing an extreme and ever-present threat to your expansion.

Co-Op Multiplayer - Team up with a friend in co-op multiplayer to survive the onslaught, defend humanity from the forces beyond the Veil, and reclaim the light together
Epic Campaign - Award winning single-player campaign full of epic battles and dire threats
Survival Mode - Put your endurance and skills to the test in the endlessly replayable Survival Mode
Award-Winning SwarmTech™ Technology – Witness the internally developed ‘SwarmTech’ technology, allowing the game to render over 70,000 enemy AI units on the screen at one time.

Living Death Fog – Encounter The Veil, a living death fog that conceals terrors and adds a new layer of danger to your survival, which must be kept at bay through the power of the Light.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Age of Darkness is frankly and underspoken great game. I feel like it does an excellent job with its systems, faction differences, atmosphere and campaign. That said, it's not a perfect game, but it is certainly worth checking. The price it asks for is quite decent, just a playthrough of the campaign will give you around 15-20 hours of content. In terms of performance, the game overheats my device like crazy. It also loads very very slow, 2+ minutes for a first boot of the day and 1+ minute for loading into a map, on a pretty good rig. Mid-mission however, it performs quite well, does some animation quirks may make you think otherwise. The game features a proper save-load system for both the campaign and Survival. Do note certain Survival difficulties put a cap on the maximum save count. Additionally, Campaign Saves do not display normally, you must load into a campaign level for them to show up. Yes, it's annoying, missions can take 60+ minutes to beat. Didn't suffer from stuttering nor freezing, though the overheating is likely to cause them in longer play sessions. To detail the animation issue: The game has a lot of Forced Animations, that means you can't give a new command to the unit until it is done. It applies for every attack, many casting abilities, as well as reload animations for siege weapons. The game also has issues with pathfinding for groups of units. You can have your melee soldiers getting stuck on one another, or stuck behind heroes. It's visible from the game's Prologue sadly. However, you unlock better units that don't have as many issues as you go on. I also suffered from a resolution bug on my 2560x1600 device. Game displayed with a lower resolution in Fullscreen Mode. Switching to Borderless fixed the issue. Onto the gameplay itself, Age of Darkness has a 11* mission Campaign, with solid narrative, great atmosphere and very good level design. It also features 3 cinematics, though these bugged out on my replay of the game, you can check them on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9F7WWLrzGM&pp=ygUaYWdlIG9mIGRhcmtuZXNzIGNpbmVtYXRpY3M%3D (Warning for spoilers, of course) I was frankly shocked at how enjoyable the levels were, and how the atmosphere sells the gritty world and the coming apocalypse. The heroes are well-done, the progression is pretty okay for only 10 missions (of which around 3 are No-Builds) and the game does give you 1 misssion (60+ minutes) with the full roster of each faction, which is neat. The final mission was awesome. That said, the Campaign does suffer from a lack of clear telegraphing. Sometimes the mission jumps to a new stage without the player being prepared. It encourages turteling before advancing. The game's resource systems also don't work quite as well in the campaign, you have a limited gain rate and a constant need for expansion. Training units is expensive and thus all of the low-tier units are immediately deprecated as you unlock new ones. The game's lack of telegraphic is also apparent in its roster showcases, it sometimes drops new units and leaves you to figure them out. Which can be quite annoying when you have to spend resources to "test" that unit. Soundtrack and atmosphere are top-notch. The game looks gorgeous and most of its elements are easy to tell apart. While I enjoyed the story, it does end on a cliff-hanger, which is in part meant to set-up the Survival Mode, but the game does lay enough to intrigue me into wanting an expansion, the mythical 4th faction and more heroes. Sadly, it stopped receiving updated. Survival mode is awesome. You have multiple difficulties, custom difficulties, mutators and random maps to keep variety. Waves come from massive Dark Crystals you can find across the map, you can trigger waves early for bonus rewards. There are caches of resources/troops and mini-bosses scattered about. You get boons after every death night. One other downside is enemies can spawn from any spot that is not lighted during the nights. This can make defense more tedious as a single small spot can screw your base over and the maps can be massive. The game has 3 factions, each with 2 heroes, unique buffs and a few special units. I'd say they did a great job in making them stand-out and feel different, even if the core is largely the same. Overall, I'd give the game an 8.5/10. It feels like a 9 at times, and I really love it, but it does have some jank and I can see why folks may not enjoy it as much as I did.
The game can be very fun but there's alot of game feel to it that just feels annoying like the pathing for example as well as the default keybinds, it's like it's trying to be a non rts. rts, because it fails on alot of basic controls, but over all mecanics wise it works pretty niceliy, i just wish they'd invest more in the game feeling nice to play. most of the time i'd be like damn im having fun then the collision of my units just make me annoyied. the story is not really much special either, it's clearly inspired by other fantasy storys like warcraft 3 mainliy. on it's that is fine but, the problem is it. it leans to hard in to telling almost the exact same story, and half way thoughe the voice actors changes so you'll oftent get taken out of it.
一点都不好玩
Did you enjoy TAB? This is the closest thing to it.
The game has a good idea, but one of the missions is so absurd that it turns the experience into something boring, repetitive, and almost impossible. It’s difficulty done wrong, a real shame.
