Amazing game! The story hooked me from the start, and the mechanics felt fresh and fun. You can really tell the creator put a lot of love and soul into making this. The mix of biking through dark trails and then exploring on foot keeps the tension high, and the puzzles and creepy encounters make it even better. A fun game for a horror evening - part cycling horror, part resident-evil style puzzles, Vicious Cycle is a nice balance of the two and each section is not so long that you get tired. I thought the ambient sound and atmosphere was really strong, with some cool lore hidden in the environment. I did struggle on some of the chases to find the right path a few times and on the bike to avoid obstacles, but I had an easier time on keyboard and mouse controls rather than using a joypad. Exploring all the walking sections was my favourite part and the arcade was especially a standout moment. You don't normally see caravan parks in horror games either, along with the horse design that was quite creepy! Really recommend giving VC a chance - it's the perfect game for a Halloween!

I liked the game the chases were fun, and the puzzles were alright.

An enjoyable horror romp with a fun gimmick - biking sections (which are a bit more arcade-y pattern based trials to overcome you learn by failing) break up more slow paced exploratory on foot sections. Each section feels fairly tight with a few chases and jumpscares along the way and varied environments to explore with a lot of fun little details. I particularly enjoyed the caravan park section with the arcade - very memorable environment and not the sort of thing you see in games often. Worth the price of entry and a few hours of your time for sure!

The vibes for this game are immaculate, so spooky and tense. The opening chase is a particular highlight, reminded me alot of the scene in Cuckoo, so well done. Rest of the game really well paced with some fun puzzles. Great stuff!

For those enjoy bike riding, this game is absolute nightmare fuel. A retro aesthetic, puzzles and a lot of hiding will see you run for your life in this mixture of Pacific Drive with HorrorDriven. Really fun and addicting game. It has a great atmosphere; the sound design and first-person perspective really put you on edge. The challenging nature of the game makes you want to keep playing and see how far you can get and what new events you'll find with each new try.

Vicious Cycle is original, creative and scary. It has bundles of atmosphere and the puzzles are thoughtfully designed. I really liked the change of pace between areas, and the delightfully lo-fi sfx kept me on edge. I highly recommend this game if you are after a good ol' fashioned horrorfest... featuring a bicycle.

This game scratches an itch I wasn't aware that I had before. Consider playing OUTLAST but you're constantly on the run - and the entire time the environment is constantly messing with you, so it turns into a memory game of how to tackle the situation at hand while being chased and the earth is uprooting to impede you. The off the seat gameplay was ok, it provided the necessary means to push forward. I think maybe one puzzle took me more than a quick glace to solve cause it was so vague and without an in-game journal I had to keep running around reading the notes to jot down in my notepad. If you like the thrill of a constant chase and an interesting "pagan" style story - I don't see any harm in you trying this at it's low price and ~1.5hr playtime. + Interesting concept + The cycle segments are always tense - Ramps are a killer, both in flow and comfort. - Puzzles are pretty simple - Hitbox on the bike is like you're a needle, but when you're on foot you're the stay puft marshmallow man.
