AeroChopper seems neat. There is not a whole lot to "review" per se, the game itself is fairly simple. I for one, enjoyed what I did play, and would recommend it to anyone who likes to try new free indie games.

AeroChopper is a simple 2D horizontal scrolling endless runner game with a few twists, bells and whistles. You control a vehicle that can transform between a slow but maneuverable helicopter and a fast jet. There's also limited shooting as you can blast some of the obstacles, and even an upgrade/customisation feature. Thanks to the Unity default launcher you can choose your resolution and there's a working full screen mode. Another plus is that this doesn't look like a Unity asset flip or anything, this seems to be a genuinely made indie game, or possibly a student project of some kind. Unfortunately after all that, it's still a mobile app tier endless runner game with little appeal for PC gamers. Controls are locked, however, that's problematic as it may render the game unplayable for differently abled gamers. There's nothing in the way of graphics tweaks or anything. This feels much more like a mobile app than a serious PC game and doesn't have any significant or notable interest for PC gamers. Even mobile app endless runners like Temple Runner feature more sophisticated graphics and gameplay. The game is completely free. Nothing speaks more to a developers belief in themselves and their product than making their game available for everyone without remuneration. This is certainly a gesture that shows dedication to the gaming industry. It's a shame in this case that the implementation is below the minimum standards a dedicated PC game should offer to enthusiasts. There's no "maybe" option in Steam, unfortunately. I feel the developers might have done better releasing this on app stores where they could find an appropriate target audience (mobile gamers), and even get paid for their effort through advertising impressions.
