all in all the game has a long way to go, as biased as my opinion is as i tested this game from early on, i can say honestly, that the concept is original, the play space is creative, and the developer is dedicated. that being said, it is a single man doing all aspects of development and it shows. currently, this game is best played with groups of friends, as word about such small indie games takes longer than the lifespan to get out. if there are dedicated gamers out there, which there is , im sure maddnuss would appreciate any feed back on how to improve upon this most base of game builds as they only had a handful of testers and little time to work out all buggs and imperfections in the core concept. in summary, its free. give it a try. youve nothing to lose but could end up gaining a great game with good support behind it. i myself will play this with around 6 friends and we have a blast just messing about with this currently buggy pile of unity code.
This asset flip tried to be a mix between Planetside and Star Wars. It is nowhere near playable though, and riddled with bugs. Game features 4 different classes. First two are Pilot and Engineer which can choose from 15 different weapons and scopes to play with. Third class is a commander, which doesnt have a weapon at all, in fact you dont even fight, you overlook it and administer the resources i suppose. Fourth class is a mecha robot with only two weapons. Maps are basically just 2 big spaceships in black box with few stars around that immitates space. There are 3 different maps, but the only thing that is different is ship's interior which is extremely basic. But the funniest thing is..there are actually small spaceships that you can fly with, or to rather say, that you cant fly with. They have the worst controls i've probably ever seen in a game, there is no tutorial or any logic way to understand how these vehicles operate. You press W, and the spaceship somehow goes left? You press Space and the ship teleports into completely different place.. Unless you think this game can make you laugh, skip it, there is nothing to be seen here except dosens of game breaking bugs and unfinished features. Pros: - 4 classes and 15 different weapons Cons: - Game breaking bugs - Dead - The game launched way too soon

i dislike this game because it is unplayable, as i always spawn in space and fall out of the play zone even if i set my spawn point. Also, the only way i can enter the space fighter is if i have a jetpack because i spawn in space but a pilot doesn't have a jetpack and a pilot is the only one who can drive a space fighter. i don't hate it though as it has a good concept but is very buggy.

poopie stinky butt game don't get
"Aerial Guardian" is yet another of those games where the developers really didn't think before slapping $100 USD down into Steam Direct. This is... yep, you guessed it, a dead PvP arena shooter. From developers who genuinely thought that putting down yet another PvP arena shooter, but with slightly worse graphics than the others, and no single player content or redeeming features, would result in their product "going viral" and them making a lot of money somehow. This is a game where you can't do anything because there's no players. The graphics aren't that good either. When are developers going to learn that other players are not a substitute for doing the job of a game developer and creating content? Not today, apparently. Anyway it's pretty obvious why this died... there's no compelling reason to play this "slightly worse than all the others" PvP arena shooter. The developers abandoned this 6 years and 5 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
