It's a really good game and I actually beat it, despite all the naysayers. Honestly, just take a little time out of your everyday life and distribute some granny smiths. Wait no, aren't granny smiths green? Macintosh. Like the computers. Goodnight.
Adventures of the Worm is a very cleverly designed puzzlegame with a built in level-editor! Looking forward to play the game through and then see what kind of creations other players come up with!
nice game
The puzzles are not too difficult, but can get a bit tricky at times. The first few puzzles are not very engaging, but once you need to start thinking it is definitely worth it. There is no undo, so if you make f.e. a wrong push you need to restart the level from the beginning. That's not too bad though since the levels are short once you worked out the solution.
Awesome
Its good
Pretty good puzzle game for the price. It's not pretty, but the puzzles are really well thought out, especially in the second half. Disregard the negative reviev by TopazMystique, I've completed the whole game and didn't have any issues with the controls.
Only played for about 30 minutes but already had a lots of these: WTF!? (looks at puzzle in bewilderment) Well DUH! This is going to be easy muhahah!(starts implementing genius-level plan to solve puzzle) O_O (realizes that puzzle has been renderd unsolvable one step before victory) NOOOOOO! Great fun, especially for only one Euro!
"Adventures of the Worm" is a simple 2D retro pixel block placement puzzle. Gameplay is a hybrid of the Commodore 64 game, Boulderdash, and the flash game, Sudoku. Guide a worm around a grid to push apples around until they fall into your house. Collect all the apples on each level to go to the next one. They chose to use obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. Resolution and controls are locked. These flaws push this game far below minimum acceptable standards for PC. Since you can play Boulderdash and Sudoku for free, it's hard to recommend anyone should pay money for this clone of those games.
this game kicks serious butt. if you haven't played it yet you either haven't heard of it or you are just a hater.
