About
Absølve places the player in the role of an empowered warrior who channels both strength and corruption to face endless waves of enemies.
The combat combines precise melee action with dynamic movement mechanics such as dashing, jumping, and ability-based attacks. Each encounter challenges the player to maintain momentum while managing limited-use ability cards that offer powerful attacks or movement options.
Face large waves of enemies, where every wave gets harder and harder.. how far will you get?
The Wheel of Judgement is a unique mechanic where the player draws random abilities from a holy arsenal to empower him during combat, this arsenal grants abilities in randomised fashion causing the player to have little-to-no influence over the abilities that will be granted.
Every time an available ability gets used, it will be removed from the player and put back into the Wheel of Judgement, then the Wheel will randomly appoint a new ability to the player, replacing the earlier ability.
In order to use these abilities you will need to build the resource called Rage, this resource automatically builds up when using your light and heavy attacks to hit enemy monsters.
The corruption adds a risk-reward element, using the Wheel of Judgement you will gain access to random abilities but not all abilities are created to your advantage.. these are what we call Corruptions gain and use one these corruptions will activate a negative effect on the player.. so be wise in your decisions on when to active certain abilities.
Face unique boss monsters (with unique archetypes/mechanics) that each will challenge you in a different way to test your gameplay, tactical and mastery.
The player’s journey emphasizes control, spectacle, and skill expression. Every battle rewards mastery, awareness, and creative combinations of attacks and abilities. The experience aims to create a strong feeling of empowerment while still challenging the player to stay composed amid chaos.

It's decent, soundtrack actually goated, combat is alright, disliked where the wave spawned, never read the abilities had fun using them, maybe optimise the game a bit more i can hear my pc trying to talk to me, would be nice seeing the cost of the abilities on the bar itself and if the abilities change when you go to the next stage why not reset the cooldowns?
It's a nice looking game. It has potential. My top pointers are : Raise the draw distance in the first level, it looks like a black void is trying to eat the world whenever you turn the camera. Add Controller support, it's a Muso style game so controllers would work really well here. Adjust the default maximum volume of the nice music to be a touch lower for the OOB experience. Same goes for the mouse sensitivity. I have a Logitech M650L with a mediocre polling rate and even that mouse was making the camera zoom very quickly. I didn't notice any performance issues but I have a 9070XT and a Ryzen 7 5700X3D so if there were some, I didn't notice. I'm aware that some of the things I complained about can be adjusted in the settings menu, but these are more about the OOB experience, the default that someone would see when they boot the game up for the first time. Gameplay: I'd like to see more effects with the hit reactions and a bump to the base movement speed. I didn't realize I was being killed because my animations didn't cancel and there wasn't a lot of "oomph" going on with the damage. Same for the enemies, I'm not aware that I'm actually cleaving them to death sometimes. Also I was able to jump out of the map in the second level because the rock cliffs don't have barriers on them. Overall : 6.85/10. I see the potential, it just needs some polish and gameplay adjustments. (If gameplay improved it's a 7/10 easily!)

Man the music is amazing, the combat feels nice aswell. When i have more time i will try to finish the game!
The game certainly has potential! It does seem like some animations or VFX seem to lack sounds, is that possible? The potential is there, especially with the music. Some tips : - Add more sound effects to abilities - Maybe include an epilepsy warning since the VFX do tend to get extreme (or maybe scale down the hit markers). - Create more boss mobs or tune the current one, I feel like the red demon and the stone demon are a much bigger threat. - Maybe randomise the spawn locations a bit more? Currently it's pretty predictable where they can spawn. - Create more levels, the world seems very cool so i'd like to potentially see more of it! Anyway, keep working on it!
Nice free game! I did have some trouble finding the extra attacks, but that probably is on me
This game has so much potential. There are still some minor bugs, but nothing takes away from the fun. The soundtrack is amazing.
The game clearly has potential, but it still needs some work to stay fun over a long time. Adding more maps would help keep the game from feeling repetitive. Enemy spawning could also be better, since enemies sometimes just appear out of nowhere and that can feel a bit awkward. It would be nicer if enemies showed up in a more natural or cinematic way. Having more weapons or letting players make different builds would add a lot to the game and help give it more of a roguelike feel, which would make it more fun to replay. It would also be great if the game’s lore was used more during gameplay, instead of mostly being in the background, so the world feels more connected and interesting.
ABSØLVE'ye hoş geldiniz! Karanlık fantezi temalı, aksiyon dolu bu oyunda, kaotik Yargı Çarkı sistemini kullanarak ardı ardına gelen iblis ordularıyla savaşacak ve olabildiğince çok canavarı yenerek günahlarınızdan arınmaya çalışacaksınız.
A tiny game that's barely left the learning stage. basic movement, cheesy combat, unexplained abilities. But the music.. ..is goated. not gonna lie, if he picks up the project again and makes it decent, i wouldnt mind doing a voiceover for it
