Weird Game
Really excellent game and a bargin considering it is free. I'd gladly buy this game for what it is. Which is a visual novel style game similar in concept to the likes of Suzerain where you are placed in a position of power and must navigate being around power hungry and ruthless political leaders. There are many endings and each feels unique and hard fought, with each choice sending you down a route where you are forced to handle the consequences of your previous decisions. Considering it's free you have nothing to lose so go ahead and give this game a try it's definitely worth your time.

For a game that is free and numerous ways to end the game both in death and in life. This is worth it and I will recommend it to any friend that wants a "simple" text game to pass the time.
The Regime knows best
honestly its pretty funny
At the end of the day, you get what you paid for. I don't find myself agreeing with the other gushing reviews, my experience was that everything felt very shallow and superficial and frankly, a little silly. Great Leader is just a little too incompetent and cartoonishly evil, and its a pretty big stretch to see how he could succeed as long as he has. While there's clear comparisons to real world dictators, he's more based on a version of them found in propaganda than the reality, and this rubs uncomfortably against the bleak realism the rest of the narrative seems to be pushing. For the most part I felt like I had little choices, and what choices I did have didn't matter much, which could still work well if the narrative was engaging, but at the end of the day that also fell short. It was good enough for me to finish my first run to a full conclusion, but not good enough for me to want to explore the other options available. Its a decent proof of concept, but falls short in many areas.
An interesting visual novel that captures the flavor of serving a capricious dictator.
