Edit: I beat the game with 7 batteries if anybody wants to give a challenge run a try. I love the gimmick, it's so simple but is a refreshing take on a collectible. All of this dev's games are short and sweet by design but of all the mechanics with the potential for expansion, this is up there. More races, timed platforms and near-impossible-to-reach jumps would add a lot to the game for me, but the mechanics are pretty busted even at 30 or so batteries. The battery system also makes the idea of challenge runs promising. I also like the perspective, and the dev did a good job of using it for environmental puzzles. I think this would have been amazing on the 3DS.
A cute little platformer you can complete in about half an hour I love the style of the game, and despite a basic story, I enjoyed the game Find and collect batteries to extend your dash and jetpack duration to make it to new places on the map, and help the NPC townsfolk! For as cheap as the game ism I'd definitely recommend it for a short experience
Another excellent game from KuriGameDev; a short but fun open-world exploration game. Gwen seems a bit suspicious though. There's a problem with window resizing, but otherwise great!
Term that comes to mind is "old student project the dev decided to turn into a quick buck." This game is multiple steps backwards in every single regard from the Dev's previous title "Pru the Pidgeon" - a game I thoroughly enjoyed.

- Clunky, awkward controls, which do not lend themselves to the precise movements needed to complete certain sections. On keyboard you control your character with the bloody arrows key, and you can't rebind this. Absolutely insane thing in 2024.
- No healthbar, if you touch any enemy or object that does damage, you are instantly send back to the latest checkpoint. This means a ton of backtracking, aggravated due to the aforementioned clunky controls.
- Dialogue is unskippable, nor are you able to speed it up. NPCs also do not get shorter voice lines after giving you a quest. This can lead to "fun" interactions, where you get to an NPC who has over 20 seconds of unskippable dialogue, you talk to them again expecting perhaps some new dialogue, and you end up with about 40 seconds of idling. The annoying keyboard noise that underlines every dialogue, doesn't help either.
- Unskippable animations for picking up items and the such, leading to even more down time.
Worst of all is that this game is basically an asset flip of the aforementioned "Pru the Pidgeon," which has basically none of the issues described here. This feels like the dev handed their assets and steam account off to their friend who has far less experience in coding and game design.
another kurigamedev banger
Yet another quick game, also worth the price of admission. A very casual, fun and relaxing experience! Some achievements would have been nice, but only to extend gameplay time a bit more.
Another good follow-up. Story is simple but the changes to the game mechanics manage to keep things reasonably fresh. I liked the music for this one. Only complaint was an issue with the window not resizing properly.
Having played Gwen the Hen and Pru the Pigeon, I was worried that this game might just re-hash the same mechanics with a slightly different theme. I couldn't have been more wrong, and pleasantly so! This game has its own unique movement mechanics, and features a single open world. No, it didn't take me long to beat, and that's just fine. I loved every minute of this game, from the visuals to the movement to the dialogue. kurigamedev makes great games :)
Really nice and fun game. Its a 3D plataform but more relaxing. Nice for the days when you just need to zoom out a little :)
This game is a little short, I beat the game in minutes and there is no more content being be put into this game. But, the gameplay is really good.
