If you liked Getting Over It (or not), this pinball game offers the same challenging rage gameplay OR modifiers for noobs (me). I have never been more thankful for slowmo and CHECKPOINTS than in any game before. My personal suggestion. Such a good game absolutely needs a level editor after release. There is endless potential for more masochistic levels than dev created.
Very fun rage game! The level designs remind me a lot of pogostuck, and this game is far more accommodating to different skill levels. You can enable checkpoints if you are on the beginner side, or difficult modifiers if you are an expert. All in all, would recommend as top 3 rage game all time for me.
This game introduced me to the foddian game genre. It’s tricky but super intuitive for someone like me. It’s fun cause I am constantly getting better, this game teaches you timing and precision better than any other game I’ve played. I just beat the first world and am about to start the second!
Played pinball, got mad. 10/10.
Great game! Definitely a worthwhile addition to the Rage Game genre. Pretty fun speed game as well :)
think the only rage inducing part about this game is that the camera never actually follows the pinball, feels like if the camera was zoomed out maybe 30-40% that would also help..maybe better once they fix, can't recommend till then edit: dev responded. I did not just talk about the camera zoom to be fair, my main complaint was about the camera tracking, just noted that zoom would fix it, but ultimately it still needs to be centered better on some sections.. Even on your zoomed out setting, the camera does not factor in which part of the map you're on and keeps the pinball towards the bottom of the screen, making any sort of landing difficult to anticipate without the slow-mo feature or a ton of map knowledge. This is not something that can be helped without you patching it, so I will not be reaching out over email or discord, but i hope you can address this and are able to make certain sections of the map track the ball in different ways. Hope you take this harshness as tough love, don't hate the game just really think it could be presented to the player a bit better. I am sure that there are people that view this camera as an added challenge to the game and welcome it, but to me it personally feels inconvenient. If it was an intended design, then by all means, do not feel obligated to change it.
Yeah, I'd say I'm pretty mad right now
Holy wow! THANK GOD THERE IS A RAGE QUIT BUTTON ON THE MENU!!! 9/10 very fun but wow is it frustrating
i'm mad
It's... okay. From the trailer, I expected it to be more frantic, rewarding patience and accuracy and leveraging the themes of pinball tables. As it is, it's a lot more placid, plodding in pace. Some of the flippers have barely any power, intentionally, which leads to moments of pure frustration when you react in time, but the lack of momentum afforded by the weaker flippers means you still reset and have to try again. I very quickly reached the point where the remarks from the narrator started looping, and I generally just lost interest. There wasn't a sense of grand achievement, and since closing the game I haven't felt the slightest inclination to go back to it. Performance on both my M2 Mac as well as my Steam Deck was honestly fairly poor, for such a simplistic level design, and I had to turn off the floating items and other effects, because succeeding fully depended on timing and accuracy. If you like this sort of thing, you might enjoy it, but it's definitely not for me, I'm araid!
