Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.57/day in the week to Sep 17 → 7.6/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
feels very smooth and nice to control, combat feels nice, overall top tier game
very gud
Play as the adorable Hat Kid as she makes her way through a "harsh" and comical world. The 3D platforming is very solid. The game is silly and fun. (Especially the characters.)

The greatest ever
Played awhile back but didn't get the chance to review. It is truthfully exactly what you expects when saying "eye-candy". Level design is great, map is varied and has a lots of fun, lots of map, good mechanics with the hats and the graphics is noice. Definitely a good play!
Jogo super bonito e divertido, além disso tem diversos mods que modificam sua jogatina(eu só joguei um até agora que é de uma fase IMENSA de 450 checkpoints...)
so like this game is awesome, I played it on my playstation before coming here for the online mode and mods. so not only is the graphics colorful and cute in this game, but there is bosses, those are hella fun to play against (especially snatcher and dj grooves/conductor) and the soundtrack.. I love it, there is so much variety. you can listen to peaceful music, intense music, and inbetween. The DLCS just add more fun to the already amazing game. Seal the Deal has a ton of content, Arctic Cruise is comfortable and cozy (most cuz the cute seals). Death Wish is just fun because its challenging and it adds more replayability to the game. Nyakuza Metro is just perfect because: the cute conversations between cats, the nice and peaceful food eating bit after the narrator describes what you ordered, the secret business of collecting time pieces with the emperor, the dopamine you get after unlocking keycards to new areas, and just outright exploring and having a relaxing time just walking around. The mods give more things to do in the game after you finish everything else somehow, especially the ones that make you explore a whole new area and actually make it interesting and fun. 10/10.
this is the best platformer i have ever played if youre looking for a good beginner platformer this is the game for you the dlcs are amazing seal the deal espessilly
A love letter to the platformer genre. More specifically, collectathons. A Hat in Time being able to evoke past memories of Crash Bandicoot and Spyro proved its success in capturing the essence of these old franchises — The art style, the cartoonish tone of the game, creative level design, charming characters, boppy tunes. It is a recipe for popularity that remains potent almost three decades on. The controls are sufficiently fluid and responsive, with a decent learning curve. Its most demanding levels do require you to master its mechanics and even beyond in some cases, leading you on a search to break the physics of the game. The self-contained plots in each chapters is a blast to go through, which is sorely missed when it diverges in structure come Chapter 4. Another criticism is the underutilization of the main antagonist leading up to the finale, which had a lot of untapped potential in terms of writing. The culmination of the DLC stories were also subpar compared to the base game. Experiencing a fresh take on the genre is rare in recent times; this one, for all its flaws, does a pretty good job at it. The modding community has, and will keep A Hat in Time going for the foreseeable future. Developers should follow up the love.
