Love this game. Quirky funny spin on the classic hero story. Really cool world to explore with the different areas, villages, villagers, enemies, animals, and loads of curious oddities. The game play is great fun, good puzzles, scary bosses, and the glider is a really unique feature. The combat and equipment system is straight forward but rewarding. Skill tree system unlocks awesome special moves to smash bad guys up with, and either equip new armour if it's better, or use it to boost the equipment you already have. Different armours boost different stats as well. Many hours of enjoyment to be had, would definitely recommend to a friend.

"A Blocc World" is I guess best described as a Minecraft ripoff without the crafting/mining focus that made Minecraft succeed without anything else going for it. A third person action adventure "RPG" (although this RPG element is very lightweight, think less Baldur's Gate and more "What happened to Link???") The developer seems to have shown a bit of self awareness and filled this with lame, lulzy humour, but not enough self awareness to look at the godawful quality here and second guess their decision to dump this on Steam alongside the other 40 games a day inflicted on us by Steam Direct. What do you do in the game? Some of the worst ARPG gameplay you'll never see, just like the nobody else who bothered with this (take a look at the player counts below). The game is really simple and unambitious in terms of implementation, more of a tech demo or one of those cases where an amateur developer spends $100 to publish something on Steam Direct to see if it's possible. Yes, obviously it's possible. A proof of concept, tech demo, or something that's less than a little blip on the radar isn't offering anything truly valuable to gamers. The game features lazy low-polygon voxel "Minecraft"-like "art", making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the 1990s. A lot of amateur developers see Minecraft's success and assume it's because it looks bad, not because it had unique and appealing game mechanics, and they try to emulate the success without understanding it. It also happens to be easy, and doesn't need any proper talent in terms of game development/graphic artists etc. That's why reviewers are faced with so many of these terrible games with confrontingly bad graphics. Developers must learn that Minecraft succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? This is a "nope". While it won't necessarily cost you money, the time and hard drive space it requires could be better invested in one of the many higher-quality alternatives on Steam.
