The camera makes the game unplayable for me. Would be fine otherwise.

Once I got over the camera issues and slow start, this was one of the best RTS campaigns I ever played. Before each mission, the game lists all the men you've gotten killed so far in the campaign, with respective name, skills and medals. That small touch really changed my perspective on taking casualties throughout the story (plus there's a bonus mission for keeping certain soldiers alive until the end). Overall it's a simple but quite tactically rich game, the missions are diverse and well designed. I particularly enjoyed how vital scouting is when attacking or patrolling, as enemy ambushes and strong points will wipe out your whole platoon in seconds. Ammo management also provided some cinematic moments: in "last stands" your men end up having to share their last mags among themselves. A few times I had to send a guy crawling through hell to grab a few mags from enemy bodies and bring it back to share with everyone. Good stuff. So this is perhaps the only movie tie in game which is better than its movie. Deserves a remake.
