Why is this even Live in this Embarrassing State? I dislike leaving negative reviews, and thus normally just delete and move on after encountering yet another stinker, but I make exceptions for certain cases, this is one of them. Note I did not play very long, as this trashfire does not deserve much of my time; nor yours. I ONLY include this to warn other people, to balance out the many suspiciously positive reviews I have seen. (Free Games are often plagued by these sorts of distortions on this platform).
1: The Very First Screen I Encounter on an English Steam page is Not Translated; Nor is seemingly Any of the Game!
This is NOT A GOOD LOOK Note: It’s fine if a game is in a different language, or not translated, but that should be indicated on the Steam page in the viewers chosen language if they differ; that is not the case here… If the gamers intended to play your game cannot understand it, then that is a BIG PROBLEM! Why then, include a Steam page that is? If your game is not available in English, say so, don’t seemingly present a game that is, yet is not! Doing otherwise comes across as very deceptive… Beyond that, it comes across as incompetent, and I find this degree of simultaneous deception and incompetence totally unacceptable from a live product.
2: No Ability to seemingly Play Absent a Gamepad?
No button I pressed on either the keyboard or mouse worked. Sigh, yet another display of total incompetence on a PC platform. You will need to guess around and figure out you have to press “B” on a gamepad to close whatever is being said on the initial screen (as none of it is translated).
3: There’s a wishlist Request right on the game screen, while you’re playing…
So incredibly tasteless… It’s just gross. Don’t do it.
4: Unskippable Tutorial + Boring Combat:
Apparently the developers think this is needed; it is not. It’s yet another, generic, sleep inducing, sidescroller, with absolutely ZERO collision on enemies, meaning, you can walk right through them like you’re a ghost… There’s a default dash present, a 2x jump right off the bat, and mantling, with a stamina bar that drains a tiny bit, a whole 5 off a 150 default bar, that refills quickly, starting to rapidly recover in about 1 second; why even include the bar if it refills so rapidly: it is effectively meaningless…. Worse, this stamina bar is for some reason NOT drained by attacking, jumping, or 2X jumping, so a deep, Soulslike RPG with meaningful combat this is NOT! This is a very light, very boring, Action “RPG”, that is very light on the RPG, with very likely nothing you have not already seen, and you have likely seen much better elsewhere. Play Elderand, Salt and Sanctuary, or Pharaonic instead: they are MUCH better games. There, I’ve helped, incidentally giving apparently vital feedback to a dev team that clearly does not deserve it: you deserve better fellow gamers.

"7th Domain:Tree of Chaos Prologue" is not a game. It's an advertisement for a product called "7th Domain: Tree of Chaos". 7th Domain: Tree of Chaos is a very poorly made Chinese 2D retro pixel platformer with a bunch of fake/paid reviews from the Russian review farm uncovered by Sentinels of the Store. Definitely something shady going on here. But this isn't completely relevant because this is not 7th Domain: Tree of Chaos, it's just an advertisment for it, so it's not correct to try to review that completely distinct product. We must instead review this for what it is... an advertisement. If you enjoy advertisements, you can consume them for free on the web or on Youtube without needing to add them to your game library, download them, and then launch the advertising. It's impossible in a general sense to recommend people should do that over playing real, full games on Steam, and that applies here with "7th Domain:Tree of Chaos Prologue" too. The purpose of this advertisement and the fake reviews the developer paid for are to scam gamers into paying $12 USD to buy the shovelware platformer, and I don't recommend you do. This is only free in the same way that adverts on Youtube and banner ads in your browser are. This is a game demo that's been dumped on Steam to advertise another Steam store page in the hopes of raking in some cash. Just because advertisements are free, doesn't mean they're worth your time. It's important to understand there's a formal process to create a demo/page for a game which hasn't been followed here: https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/store/application/demos While it might seem like an inocuous mistake, publishing demos and advertisements as if they are full games is misleading and in some ways harmful. This advertisement is taking up marketing space and visibility that would be better made available to a developer that's done the right thing and created a full game. Instead, that visibility is given over to a demo/advert that's been published incorrectly and is polluting the marketplace. It's unclear if this mistake was made through incompetence or a deliberate intent to mislead gamers. Often developers may choose to incorrectly publish demo/advertisements as separate games as a cheap way to bypass paying Valve for marketing presence on the Steam front page, which may seem clever to them, but it's harmful behaviour and it's not good for gamers.
Warning: Review Manipulation! This game features a number of fake positive reviews from accounts known to be in the business of review manipulation/paid reviews. They're all written in either Russian, broken English or ChatGPT AI slop, appear at almost exactly the same time, very shortly after the game launched on Steam, all have a direct Steam purchase of the game, and the accounts are used consistently to write fake reviews for asset flips and other cash grabs/scams. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this blatant, unethical review manipulation. This is done to deceive and scam gamers into paying for a bad product. Due to the 2024 FTC ruling (16 CFR Part 465), these fake reviews are a violation of US Federal Law.
Advertisements and incorrectly published demos don't add +1 to your game collector count, they aren't full games. It's impossible for me to recommend this incorrectly published advertising spam to gamers, you deserve better than adverts.
"7th Domain", Roguelike Metroidvania'dan türetilmiş, hazine öğütme oynanışıyla birleştirilmiş yatay versiyonlu bir aksiyon oyunudur. Dünyayı onaran ve bozulan dünyanın gerçeklerini bulan kaderin çocuğunu oynayacaksınız. Savaşta büyüyecek, bilinmeyen ve gizli güçlere meydan okuyacaksınız.

Вполне годный платформер. Игра страдает картами. В остальном играбельно
