7 Years From Now

I remember playing this game on mobile more than 7 years ago, but never finishing it. Only recently I found this game once again and decided to see it through the end. I must say that even though the game has simpler voxel artstyle, the story is incredibly thoughtful. In the beginning, you search for unknown answers alongside the main character, who has lost his memory. The plot has many twists that will leave you flabbergasted or emotionally broken. I loved the journey of Haruto with his friends. The soundtrack is really great - my favorite track is Ame Neko. This game is a hidden gem. Even after finishing it, you'll stay with Haruto and Aoi.

It's a good visual novel, I finished it in one sitting, including all epilogue and side story content. However, it wasn't quite as good as I expected from a game with 98% positive reviews. [h2]Visuals and Audio[/h2] I'm not a fan of the voxel/3D pixel art style, but my actual complaint is the lack of animation. There are no walking animations or facial expressions at all. The background music is great, despite its semi-minimalistic usage. [h2]Gameplay[/h2] Despite the art style, there's no actual gameplay. There are no puzzles or optional exploration. At most, you can talk to a few random NPCs that have no relation to the story. The keyboard movement controls are also awkward, though I got used after an hour. [h2]Story[/h2] The story is great, it reminds me of top-rated anime that blend coming of age, mystery, and slice of life. However, there are a few things I didn't really like: [list] [*]The main story is split into 40 mini-chapters. It should be compacted into 8 or fewer chapters to reduce interruptions. [*][spoiler]The time travel[/spoiler] is too overwhelming, especially in the epilogue. [*]I wish the story focused more on the 6 main casts, because the story drifted too far into [spoiler]time-travel zone[/spoiler] late in the story and epilogue. [/list] [h2]Other[/h2] This game runs fairly well on my Linux device. I experienced an audio crackling issue, which I fixed by adding "PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=50 %command%" to the launch options. On one occasion, the game had a bug where the character moved to a non-walkable area when changing location. Fortunately, changing to an older Proton version made the game move the character to the correct location. [hr][/hr] I do recommend this game, especially if you like visual novels or anime. But don't set your expectations too high, or you may be disappointed.

没想到上了steam，还包含了以前没看过的EP和SideStory。EP的结局有点包寿司，但是在本篇简直意难平的院长和kanna这对有了HE还有之后的小故事！超绝好评！

其实在游戏初期，简陋的画面，匮乏的配乐，角色无配音再加上游戏性的缺乏让我感受到了无聊，但是一开始就是打着通关的决定玩得所以还是坚持了下来。最终，我很庆幸我没有放弃。 “我在7年后等你”这个约定在游戏中也出现了多次，但直到最后才能真正明白这句话的意思。也是嘛，毕竟两个不同的人在7年之内采取一样的行动，一般来说是不可能的……！不过……正因如此，我才希望你们做到……

虽然这个故事可能被听说过，但是真正玩到最后还是会被震撼。剧情一波三折，但是呢，【是好结局哦】！
