One-button rhythm game that may be difficult for those who do not have good rhythm. First and foremost, gameplay is accessible to anyone because you only need to press one key. Although you cannot select a custom key, you can choose from the most often used keys, including arrow buttons, space, enter, and mouse buttons. The game is about following the rhythm. There are four chapters, each containing ten stages that must be performed in order. But you only have to beat five stages to unlock the next chapter. Each stage contains a song and bubbles to pop as they reach the marker. Because the song is composed of several patterns, you may receive one or more bubbles in rapid succession. Despite this, the overall process is simple and takes little time to achieve the highest possible score. However, there is one roadblock. If you want to make progress to the next stage, you will have to beat every fifth stage within a chapter in spectacular mode. This is where the challenge lies. The mode features the same song and patterns as casual mode, but you can not see the timing. This requires you to remember the tune or predict when to press the button. Except for the sounds that indicate a miss or hit, there is no visual cues whether you pressed the button too late or too early. To be fair, there are a few hints. First of all, you must wait for the whole sequence of bubbles to appear on the bar before beginning the beat. Second, the timing of the first bubble is shown by a dark line on the bar. This can be tricky because a bar has numerous dark lines (they mark the beginning and end of a sequence), but you can figure out which one is the right one by looking at the number of bubbles on the bar and how close the first bubble is to the beginning. The hard part is that you have to reach a good score to be able to continue. Scoring is very brutal and it’s very easy to ruin it. This can happen with any missed beat because it messes you up so much that you fail the entire sequence. You don’t need the best score, but even a passable score is hard to get. Fortunately, once you pass the fifth stages in spectacular mode, you can play the rest in casual to beat them all. While spectacular mode provides rewards in the shape of gems, they are not worth it. The main reason is because gems have a mobile phone economy, which means you can purchase a bundle of gems with real money. Gems can then be used to buy a different mascot that sends bubbles, a handful of fires that indicate the point where you have to click a button, and one of four boosters. Except for the one that hits the bubbles automatically for a few seconds, the rest are worthless.
A cool rhythm game with cute visuals that I've been looking for since Melatonin. The gameplay is straightforward with assistance from the "beat indicator" bar on the top, which you can practice on but wouldn't give much reward. The Spectacular mode (cool name btw) gives better reward and makes you actually focus on the cues and feel the rhythm. The final level is just wow, and insane-level hard to get S rank. Has an in-game store with boosters and cute mascots. There is an automatic booster to play for you over hard parts of a song. You can pick a song you're good at to farm the gems to buy mascots (which I may have spent too much time to get the corgi). A nice and accessible rhythm-focused game overall, which I believe will entertain both those good and bad at rhythms (myself in-between haha)
It's a casual-sized game with an interesting concept. Even though I'm not really a fan of rhythm/music games, I got hooked by the cool trailer. The game is fun with many levels and music styles. Each level is a song that is 2-3 minute long so you don't have to focus for an extensive amount of time, which I enjoy playing on my breaks. The difficulties are unpredictable though, some songs may feel slow but the patterns are challenging to grasp. There are also supporting items that you can buy with the rewarded gems when you clear a level. Haven't tried all the levels but generally a nice experience that makes me feel like I still have some music skills. Would recommend for the price (bought at 20% discount).
$7 for a (bad) mobile game that has in-game purchases for currency. This is disgusting.
Easy to play, hard to master!! The levels are beautifully crafted, each offering unique visuals and gameplay that keep you coming back for more. The music is definitely what makes me love this game—catchy, soothing, and full of surprises that elevate each stage. The progression of difficulty is pretty balanced, making sure you’re always challenged but never overwhelmed. Casual mode is just something for you to get familiar with the rhythm/ music of that specific level, the Spectacular mode is extremely challenging! It took me a while to feel the beat and overcome the levels. What really stands out to me is the immersive experience this game creates. It’s not just a game—it’s a journey through sound and rhythm that feels like an art piece you’re actively participating in. Whether you're a casual gamer or a rhythm game enthusiast, "60 BPM" is an absolute must-play for me at this price. I can’t recommend it enough!
Got recommended this game by a friend and it's a pretty cool indie game with professional-level music. The first 5 levels are sorted from easy to hard with tutorials so you got a moderate learning path for the game mechanics and to gain a feel of the music. It was difficult to me at first because of the different sounds and waiting times in the first game scene, but are nice challenges to get through. The art is as good as showed in the trailer, but I think the developers were a bit overdone with the level panel of the "Spectacular" mode so it looked like a different style of art (still nice in a wild way). You can select other animals to go with you beside the default capybara. I tried buying the chicken and it was hillarious. Also the in-game tips are fun! I would say the price is fair given the art and the music. Great game to immerse yourself to the music and not just reacting to visual cues.
So basically I bought it thinking it was just another simple one-button rhythm game, but ended up spending the whole evening hooked on it. The first few levels were pretty easy, but things got real after level 5 when the tempo picked up and the beats became even harder to hit. Love the music, btw! Tips my hat to the dev team, even tho not being an easy gamer. 5/5 would play again.
While neutral raiting would be more fitting, I do think the game is charming enough and in a state where it's worth giving a try if you're interested Let's start with the good stuff. At the time of writing there is 43 levels of varied lengths (some of which are meant as tutorials), and they all have unique music from a variety of genres. Most of them are decently well charted and, despite the name of the game, the BPM of the songs varies from slow chill tunes to a 200 BPM finale. Next up is the mobile aesthetic/microtransactions. I have no problem with the general look, but I do think the deployment of microtransactions is always iffy in paid titles. In general, all shop content is purchased with gems, which you get for completing levels (with a rank that's not F). Shop contents are cosmetics, and boosters - consumable modifiers that affect your game (auto-play/slow down/speed up/metronome) for a limited time. It feels quite strange to see these relatively expensive temporary buffs in the shop like this rather than a toggle-able option for the level itself like in other titles. But ultimately none of this is required to reach or complete any of the content. And then, the rhythm gameplay itself. While you might expect a call-response type gameplay like in Rhythm Heaven or Bits & Bops; what you get is a "repeat the pattern" type gameplay, which showcases the pattern in a mix of sound and visual cues. While I think there is room for improvement in making the patterns clearer in some cases, there is also room to improve on the player side of things, offering a casual mode to learn the pattern, and as of most recent update we now have early/late notifications so that you can correct yourself in the middle of a pattern. I think my main problem with the game now is the scoring system. I'm not sure exactly how it works, but perfects in a row earn a streak which seems to affect the score like a multiplier, since a full combo with scarce imperfect notes can result in a B rank despite 91%+ Perfect rate. There are still some issues when it comes to missing notes - you can "miss" when you press a key without a note, which not only gives you negative points to your score, it also means that every time you miss a note you tend to actually get 2 "misses" - one for your misclick, and one for the note you didn't click. Still, these sort of games do tend to focus on wanting all perfects in a song, which does lower the effect of both of these issues. Ultimately the game is not perfect, but I think there is fun to be had. If you're interested then give it a whirl, the devs have been quite responsive to the criticism and have improved the game from it to affect the rating of this review.

Good game for Rhythm lovers. My 1st thought is it will be easy but it's actually not. With spec mode, you have to try hard to pass. Worth a try.
