This game is smaller than the other AD games Phr00t wrote but I put it forward as a nice game!!
nice
It was ok. I shot some things.
This game is hard for me to review. I enjoyed parts of it quite a bit but other parts that made me want to quit. Most of the gameplay is great and it has some really cool enemy's but the "difficulty" ramp was way to extreme. It's not an easy game but when I was getting close to the boss it got so hard that I was only a few rooms from the boss and couldn't progress anymore because I was dying so much. There was one enemy that I think glitch out and was impossible to kill because I spent 5 minutes spamming my gun at him and he didn't die. The more you die in this game the further you get sent back with no way to get back to where you were as you loose ability points when you die. I know the original intention was to have limited lives or 1 life and the feature to have unlimited lives but loose ability points was added to make the game easier but it still feels like limited lives because after your 5 or 6th death you have no more ability's left. I ended up editing the game files to finish the boss because I couldn't figure out how to kill him with such low health and damage. I wanted to hear the story because I've been a big fan of the XX89 series that the game maker Phr00t started and wanted to know this tied into the rest of the series. It's not a bad game if you want a challenging hard to beat boss battle or love the idea of a rouge like that you have to start over when you die but for the person who didn't want to grind at the game it wasn't the best. I still had fun playing it even if I did edit the game files to beat it.
Great atmosphere and environments, great music, fun gameplay. Works really well with the "OpenVR-WalkInPlace" SteamVR plugin, so you can walk by actually walking in place using Vive Trackers (some games don't work quite as well with it, but it works great here). This is gonna be my new go-to game for showing people a fun and aesthetically-pleasing VR "walk in place using trackers" game.
Tags : 1PS - First Person Shooter Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Broken. Does not Launch. Product requires end user manual install of JAVA. Fed up with this developer. I tried reinstalling and it did not help. Menu opens and then the window just collapses on itself without so much as an error message. Conclusion: I supported Phr00t's development of his franchise. But he seems more interested in spitting out as many poor iterations and spiritual successors in close succession as possible rather than make working and enjoyable products. I will actively avoid this dev from now on.
One of the worst games ever made.
Good
‘Tis ok. Just ok.
All the propaganda blastin' by the AI reminds me of when me and my boys were sent to the damn Korean front. Good call sir, hats off.
