Welcome to 3D Hardcore Cube
A game with very noticeable bugs. There’s no way the game was intentionally designed like this, it’s just terribly broken. The only reason I bought this game was for the 1596 total achievements. This is one of the few games where I said to myself, “I’m glad there are only 12 levels, because I don’t want to play more.” You said the game is “difficult” well no sh*t, because the game is awfully made. Also it does not worth the original price, only pay if its on big sale.

Broken list and flaws:
[olist] [*] Camera: The camera placement is bad and you made it too complex for no reason. Why not just place it in the middle of the screen and let it follow the player normally? [*] Movement: For a platforming game, I expect the movement to at least feel smooth, but no—the movement sucks because of the broken physics. [*] Jumping: Sometimes it jumps higher and farther; sometimes it decides to become limp and barely work. [*] Jump booster floor: Combined with the already broken jumping, this mechanic makes the game even more broken than it already is. [*] Sticky walls: You already have falling floors that disappear after a limited amount of time and do not respawn. Then I jump on it and ended up getting stuck on the side while they fall just because I touched them. [*] Level 7: You didn’t teach the player how to duck to progress. [*] Level 10: You can easily get stuck in the falling floor. At least playtest your own game to find that out. [*] Level 12: Sometimes the bullets shot from the turret hit the spike objects and get redirected, resulting in the player dying because of the sh*tty design. [*] The game’s selling point is supposedly the difficulty and soundtrack, but both of them suck. [/olist] This is my genuine review if I judge it purely as a game. As an achievement hunter, it’s only good because of the total amount of achievements.

Gráficos / Video5Minimalista/indie: cumple, no deslumbra.

I can only recommend it if you need achievements
3D Hardcore Cube is a distilled test of reflexes and spatial awareness, a game that strips away everything except the raw fundamentals of navigating hazards under pressure. Developed and published by Laush Dmitriy Sergeevich / Laush Studio, it delivers a no-nonsense platforming experience built entirely around precision movement and punishing level design. There is no story, no characters, no worldbuilding — just you, a cube, and a gauntlet of traps. From the moment you begin the first level, it becomes clear that the game is designed for players who enjoy the cycle of trial, error, and eventual mastery. Each level presents a compact obstacle course where one misstep means instant failure, pushing you to study the environment, refine your timing, and execute your movements with accuracy. The visual and audio presentation reinforces this minimalist philosophy. Levels are constructed from clean, geometric shapes, with bright colors and sharp edges that keep hazards immediately visible and readable. There are no ornate textures or atmospheric effects — just functional design meant to highlight the placement of platforms, boosters, turrets, falling hazards, and bounce pads. The simplicity allows the player to focus entirely on the movement mechanics instead of being distracted by unnecessary visual clutter. Sound design follows the same approach: understated audio cues provide feedback without dominating the experience, leaving players immersed in the rhythm of jumping, dodging, and retrying. Where 3D Hardcore Cube finds its core appeal is in the escalating complexity of its level design. Early stages act as a warm-up, teaching you how to handle basic jumps and simple boosters. But the difficulty ramps up quickly, introducing moving platforms, shifting hazards, tightly timed obstacles, and aggressive elements like turrets that demand both speed and foresight. Each level acts as a self-contained challenge, and the satisfaction comes from overcoming design that initially looks impossible. Clearing a difficult stage after a dozen or even hundreds of attempts can feel genuinely rewarding, especially for players who thrive on exacting, skill-focused gameplay. The enormous number of Steam achievements — over a thousand — also provides an additional layer of challenge for collectors and completionists. However, this commitment to pure difficulty also exposes the game’s limits. The tight level design can sometimes veer into territory where precision feels less like a skill test and more like a demand for near-perfect execution. Some stages rely heavily on trial-and-error rather than intuitive design, which can turn extended sessions into fatigue rather than satisfaction. Since the game offers no progression systems, narrative moments, or evolving mechanics beyond harder variations of the same obstacles, the overall experience can feel repetitive. Once you’ve internalized how boosters, ramps, or falling objects behave, the main draw becomes whether you can tolerate the repetition required to master them. For players seeking variety or creativity in level themes, the sameness of its minimalistic approach may wear thin. Despite these drawbacks, 3D Hardcore Cube is effective at what it aims to be: a stripped-back, challenging platformer that demands persistence and precision. It is suited for players who enjoy quick-fire platforming trials, repeated attempts, and the satisfaction of conquering levels by sheer force of skill and determination. It’s not trying to appeal to a broad audience or compete with more elaborate indie platformers — instead, it offers a focused, demanding experience for a niche group of players who appreciate punishing, straightforward obstacle courses. If you enjoy refinement through repetition and thrive on difficult platforming challenges, this game will give you plenty to overcome. If you prefer variety, depth, or a more forgiving learning curve, it will likely feel too narrow and too relentless. Ultimately, 3D Hardcore Cube stands as an unapologetically simple yet fiercely challenging puzzle-platformer. Its strength lies in its purity: no filler, no distractions, just a long sequence of tightly choreographed hazards waiting for the player who is willing to die again and again until every movement becomes instinct. It’s not a universal recommendation, but for the right player, it delivers exactly the uncompromising challenge it promises. Rating: 5/10
