it is what is says on the tin. An escape room puzzle game heavily inspired by The Room or similar game. Art style is solid. The story as far as it exists is fine. Audio is also fine. The major down side once again as for all the games by this developer are the controls. The just do not work that well. All It feels too long and some of the puzzles just do not click. At least for me. I hope the developers will get it right some time. Score: 5/9
If you are an escape room puzzle enthusiast, only buy this on sale. This is one of those situations where it would be helpful to have a sideways thumb in addition to up or down, or a number of stars rating - a binary recommend or not recommend is just too restrictive. For puzzle room enthusiasts, there are some well designed rooms and interesting puzzles, but there are also a number of rooms that are aren't engaging and have puzzles that are just not interesting or tedious (I'm looking at YOU, knights duel challenge). It seemed like it got more tedious as the game went on. I'm abandoning this game for now just after completing level 3-2.
I wish they would just tell you the objective, or how to interact with the puzzles. I don't need hints that solve everything, just something to know how to start some of the games.
Dostatečně dlouhá hra s pěknými puzzly.
Developed and published by Shenzhen Zhonglian Interactive Technology Co., Ltd., 3D Escape Room: Mystic Manor delivers a thoughtfully designed first-person puzzle adventure that transforms the traditional escape room formula into a larger mystery spanning an entire estate. The story begins with the player inheriting an old manor that has remained untouched for years, only to discover that every hallway, chamber, and concealed passage hides clues connected to a long-forgotten family legacy. Instead of presenting isolated puzzle rooms, the game weaves exploration and storytelling together, encouraging players to gradually uncover the secrets of the manor through careful observation and logical thinking. The narrative unfolds naturally as each solved puzzle opens new areas and reveals additional pieces of the estate's mysterious past. The game's greatest strength lies in the diversity and creativity of its puzzles. Featuring sixteen distinct rooms, every location introduces fresh mechanics and unique themes rather than repeating familiar lock-and-key scenarios. Players are challenged with hidden mechanisms, elaborate contraptions, mathematical riddles, pattern recognition, object manipulation, and environmental logic puzzles that require genuine attention to detail. Many solutions demand players to carefully inspect their surroundings and connect seemingly unrelated clues scattered across different rooms. This steady introduction of new puzzle ideas keeps the gameplay engaging throughout its lengthy campaign and rewards those who enjoy solving complex challenges through deduction rather than random experimentation. One of the most memorable mechanics is the magical X-Ray Eyepiece, a special tool that allows players to examine the internal workings of objects hidden beneath their surfaces. Rather than simply searching for visible clues, players gain the ability to inspect intricate mechanisms concealed inside furniture, machinery, and mysterious devices. This feature adds an inventive twist to traditional escape room gameplay, creating puzzles that feel far more interactive and mechanical than simply entering combinations or locating hidden keys. It also introduces satisfying moments where understanding how a device functions becomes just as important as discovering where it is located, making each breakthrough feel rewarding. The manor itself serves as more than just a backdrop. Every room has been carefully crafted with detailed architecture, decorative furnishings, and historical influences that contribute to the overall atmosphere. The realistic visuals encourage slow, methodical exploration, rewarding players who thoroughly investigate every shelf, cabinet, painting, and forgotten corner. Environmental storytelling plays an important role throughout the adventure, as journals, letters, artifacts, and subtle visual details gradually reveal the history of the family and the manor. The combination of immersive environments and carefully placed clues helps create a believable world where every discovery feels meaningful. The pacing strikes a satisfying balance between exploration and puzzle solving. Rather than overwhelming players with constant dialogue or lengthy story sequences, the game allows curiosity to drive progression. Every solved mystery naturally leads to another unanswered question, maintaining a steady sense of momentum from beginning to end. The substantial playtime offered by the sixteen interconnected rooms gives players plenty of opportunities to appreciate the variety of puzzles while remaining invested in the unfolding narrative. Although some of the later challenges can become quite demanding, they rarely feel unfair, instead encouraging players to think more carefully and revisit previously overlooked details. 3D Escape Room: Mystic Manor succeeds because it understands what makes escape room games enjoyable: rewarding curiosity, intelligent puzzle design, and a satisfying sense of discovery. Its imaginative X-Ray mechanic helps distinguish it from many other puzzle adventures, while the well-crafted environments and interconnected mystery provide strong motivation to continue exploring. Players looking for fast-paced action may find its deliberate pace too methodical, but anyone who enjoys carefully examining environments, solving intricate puzzles, and uncovering hidden stories will likely find this adventure both engaging and memorable. It stands as a polished and content-rich escape room experience that effectively blends mystery, exploration, and logical problem-solving into an enjoyable package. Rating: 7/10
Great game and really enjoyable puzzles. Wonderful graphics and would totally recommend to those who are a fan of this genre.
tré bon jeux les énigme sont trés correcte je me suis bien amusé je recommande si vous aimer les énigme
Graphics were great, games not too difficult.
The game started good, with interesting writing and clever puzzles. But the further you go in, the more of a slog it becomes. Puzzles become clunky and require a lot of back-tracking and writing things down on an external pad of paper. The writing devolves into badly translated English. The hints for the more opaque puzzles become gibberish. And puzzles become too trial-and-error based, with less smarts needed than grinding. There are many more puzzles in this genre that are a lot better. I'd look elsewhere.
