"2D Brick Breaker Game | REMASTERED" is a 2D retro pixel ripoff of Breakout/Arkanoid from the ancient arcades of the 1980s, but arguably deficient to those games. The game boasts 100 levels but this is just samey repetition of the same blocks laid out in different ways. Gameplay itself is fairly smooth but there's little in the way of trajectory change when hitting the ball off the paddle, and that makes the gameplay frustrating, most players expect to be able to affect the ball by skillful paddle control, you don't get that feeling here. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. The developers didn't design the game for modern gaming PCs, as such the game resolution caps out at 1080p, a very low resolution that became mainstream back in 2006 and became obsolete when 4K entered the mainstream in 2014. The game simply won't look right on modern gaming displays due to this failure on the part of the developers. Some of the defects in the game can be attributed to the choice of using the GameMaker Studio construction kit/toolset. This is a very poor quality toolset favoured by amateur developers as it's cheap and requires little in the way of development skill, but unfortunately has very limited capabilities. Just as you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, you can't make a great video game if you use a terrible engine. GameMaker Studio is often used to make retro pixel shovelware and cash grabs. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. Given you can play Arkanoid and Breakout games for free on the web, it's ridiculous to suggest anyone should pay money for this one.
I divorced my wife so that i have more time to play this game
I was originally going to do a video review for this game back when I bought it for a dollar. It's a fairly boring game and pretty much what you'd expect from a Breakout clone, probably made with Clickteam Fusion. But the ridiculous price hike is just unprecedented. Look elsewhere.
The best brick breaker game I have ever played. 100 Unique levels and great soundtrack. If ur going to buy a brick breaker game u should 100% buy this instead of other brick breakers.
Generally well made game with a really good backround music. If you are looking for some near mindless and (for most people) inexhaustible source of entertainment this is the game for you.
One of the best casual games ever. Even better than the brick breaker game in old blackberry phones. I already finished it twice and plan on speedrunning it. Endless fun!
I got this game through a Steam key from a friend and at the time it was roughly $40 - 70 dollars just for a point-and-click game. This is one of the most boring games I've played in recent time, I spent 3 hours and completed the game just to say that I unfortunately did. The music is alright but does not change at all, so get used to that if you wanna play this. The ball bouncer is incredibly unpredictable, and the overall level design is weak. you do get a 9-11 level pretty deep in the game, so that's kinda cool. Just for that I'd give it a thumbs up!
İyi oyun.
Me when im a ball and im breaking blocks
Basic Brick Breaker. Mouse control only. Not bad, reminds me of the old days.
