About
This is someone's lab and factory, full of dangerous things.
You're a lost little soul here. Survive the obstacle, finish the boss that comes out of the door and move on!
1X1 is largely divided into a barrage and a boss battle, and the game is played.
Normally the door is closed, but as you work through the pattern and move on, the door opens and you encounter the boss of that stage. If the door opens, prepare for a battle with the boss!
Give the boss schedule damage and he closes the door and runs away.
The later barrage patterns and battles come back stronger.
It consists of patterns of various personalities as well as "avoid bullets."
You can have fun switching between passive avoidance and active combat.
Meet the robotic design to fit the theme of factory and robot
Each boss has a simple method of targeting that can be operated with one button.
It is not easy, but you can enjoy it without burden with checkpoints that occur every time you open and close the door.
There is an infinite bomb stage for those who want to focus on bomb shelters without fighting.

"1X1" is a small, simple bullet hell-esque game where you open a door, experience a bullet hell related minigame (dodge a lot of stuff, etc), defeat the encounter, then open another door. Or, you know, uninstall. What do you do in the game? Bullet hell minigames. It feels like a relic from the late 1990's/early 2000's Adobe Flash era of a gaming. But this has been published on Steam alongside contemporary, cutting edge PC games. I didn't build a gaming rig just to use it to play glorified browser/Flash games, and neither did every other dedicated PC enthusiast out there. Steam isn't here to compete with Chrome and Firefox. The game is really simple and unambitious in terms of implementation, more of a tech demo or one of those cases where an amateur developer spends $100 to publish something on Steam Direct to see if it’s possible. Yes, obviously it’s possible. A proof of concept, tech demo, or something that’s less than a little blip on the radar isn’t offering anything truly valuable to gamers. On the topic of visuals, the weak looking 2D retro assets seem like they'd be more at home in a browser game or a mobile app. 3D graphics accelerators hit the mainstream of PC gaming in the mid 1990's with cards like the ATI Rage and Voodoo3D, there's no excuse for such poor 2D graphics in 2026. That alone is enough to disqualify this for recommendation. Let's look at the price and what kind of value this actually offers gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. A peak of 5 concurrent players (according to SteamDB) for a "free" game is a disastrous public reception. Out of 130 million potential players here on Steam, almost nobody was interested. Even though this is "free". That level of rejection speaks a lot for the quality of the game. This "free" game won't count toward your game collection count on your profile. With that in mind, is it something you should still download? This is a "nope". While it won't necessarily cost you money, the time and hard drive space it requires could be better invested in one of the many higher quality alternatives on Steam.
Good
unknown game but actually nostalgic
