You got into an unusual dream. The goal of the game is to wake up, going through difficulties, avoiding the vigilant guard of the museum. The artificial intelligence of the enemy is very developed. How far will you go to unravel the secrets of Douglas? What does he hide from prying eyes?

Wow. i really wanted to give this game a chance, it looked funny and harmless for the price. but i should of known better. control are like drunk, your just floating and the real controls are bugging. i could go on but just stay away not worth the hassle of getting refund. im getting mine
Making a game is hard. It really is. I can appreciate that a lot of time and effort went into this piece. It's unfortunate that it's not particularly good. The animations are lackluster, the only enemy character has no weight to his movements or actions, the sound design just simply isn't good, and the game, overall, isn't enjoyable to play for more than about an hour. However, it's not bad. There are some generally good atmospheric moments, and I had fun with the game, whether I was supposed to or not. For it's low price, it's worth it. I've made a video with more gameplay here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bvMZXsZQg-Q&t=188s
Firstly, I have never played the first game, so I don't know how this compares. I don't typically write reviews for games I haven't finished completely, but I really don't think I'll be coming back to this game at all. So, the first thing that the player sees is a screen with bad English (you can understand the gist, though). The goal is simple: turn on clocks, dodge security. However, I spent almost an hour trying to find my way through the dark without seeing the security. After getting myself confused, lost and turned around, I finally saw the security guard and it was easy enough to dodge. The graphics were actually not that bad, but they did use characters like Chucky and Annabelle. The location was interesting and the museum objects seemed random but were nice for the most part. I didn't experience any bugs during my short gameplay, however, sometimes interacting with the candles was an issue. Sometimes it took way too many clicks to be able to pick them up, even if the cursor was right on the candle. The game was also way too dark and the game has no in-game settings for brightness. I get that you're supposed to be using a lantern to be sneaking around but it doesn't mean I like to struggle to see in the darker parts of the area. Also, for those that care, the achievements for this game do not work. Overall, I wasn't impressed by the game. If the game had just a couple things fixed (or even if just the achievements worked), I'd be more inclined to recommend this game. But, as of right now, I can't recommend this game.
Warning: Asset Flip! 12 HOURS 2 is a fairly basic Unity asset flipped first person horror adventure, one of many hundreds, if not thousands of these glutting Steam. The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store packs, arranged them haphazardly in a first person adventure game template, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers. Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. This game has been translated from some other language into English... badly. If this was done through Google Translate, Google Translate should feel ashamed of itself. Regardless, the language in this game is broken and will put off a lot of gamers. Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The game assets are fairly mediocre/low quality which fits with the idea they weren't developed by the game creator... they look like they're "just reasonable enough" to go on sale as part of an asset pack. The issue of asset flipping aside, ultimately the quality of these assets is low and low quality always makes for a less than optimal gaming experience. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. 12 HOURS 2 didn't appeal much to the people who own a copy of the game, either. It has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game didn't really capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is for finding a clock, trivial to get, but less than 19 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game. Hardly a success story, even the people who own this game weren't interested in it. The poor quality of this game is also reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 2 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam? 12 HOURS 2 has the total ripoff price of around $4 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam. This is also competing with over 11,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
Not bad! Sometimes it's scary, but you don't need to expect more from indie horror!
