1010 is an asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", Walkboy Studio, took a tutorial for making a 1010 game (most likely the Blocks Puzzle tutorial/demo/game asset pack from the real developers, redfoc), changed the name, and dumped the result onto Steam. They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work. This certainly gets branded as an asset flip because it's indistinguishable from other Construct2/HTML5 1010 game tutorials... there's no reason to believe this is an original creation, and even in the extremely unlikely chance it is, it's indistinguishable from the stock assets out there. And that's really what the problem with asset flips is all about. Sure, the intellectual bankruptcy of taking someone else's work and putting your own name on it is bad, but as consumers, what matters is that this product has no real value, it's not sincerely made, it's a knock-off. The original 1010 game is made by Zynga and is a mobile app. But this is not from Zynga. It's absolutely unethical to take someone else's entire game (even if the underlying code may be slightly different) and try profit from that. The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "Blocks Puzzle" is just a game template that creates a simple mobile/browser "1010" minimalist block placement game made using the Construct2 engine/HTML5, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game, so this copy+paste of it can't be recommended. Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off. Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers. It gives genuine amateur/indie developers a bad name. Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from Walkboy Studio.

Good Game if your bored and wanna have a relaxing game
Fun!
It controls really weird, and makes it pretty uncomfortable to play. But aside from that it's a fun game.... but it's also got like 10 free ports on the internet probably a 3/10 for the pure fact that it's bugs make it uncomfortable, and it's kinda a waste of a dollar
SUPER!!
You need to press ALT-F4 to close this Game. lol.
I'm playing games in alphabetical order and you can watch my review here: https://youtu.be/HSliwJYBPog Prefer to read? This is an ultra-basic block placing game where you choose from 3 shapes to place on the board. You can't rotate them and they aren't affected by gravity. Form a line to remove it from the board, and then continue until you lose. There's no end, no high score list, and despite what the store description claims, there's no storyline. You can find plenty of free apps that do exactly this, and more.
