More than a decade ago, a remote village in Bali flourished for generations. Its prosperity was no coincidence. According to local belief, it was a gift from an ancient entity worshipped as the village's guardian. In return, every generation had to sacrifice a daughter from a chosen bloodline, one who met sacred conditions.

Utari was born and raised in that village for one purpose: to be that sacrifice.

Then everything changed. A tragedy caused the ritual to fail, and young Utari escaped. She was eventually found and raised in an orphanage. But the village and the entity's curse never stopped following her, and saving her demanded drastic measures.

Years later, Utari has forgotten every trace of that childhood. Now lost memories are pulling her back, forcing her to face a past she cannot remember. How far can you trust your own memories when the truth was never meant to be found?

"101 FORGOTTEN" is a psychological horror visual novel set in an alternate universe inspired by Bali. It weaves together visual novel storytelling, first-person 3D investigation and clue-driven puzzles, drawing on sacred rituals and Southeast Asian and Balinese folklore. It is a story about memory, trauma and the curses we inherit.

Characters

Utari, a young woman whose childhood has vanished from her memory. When supernatural visions start to shatter her fragile sense of reality, she has to uncover what really happened to her, even if it is something she was never meant to remember.

Raka, a young professional and the person closest to Utari. Compassionate, dependable and resourceful, he stays by her side as the supernatural events tearing through her life grow darker.

Detective Arya, a sharp and determined investigator with a personal connection to a series of cases that brings him to Utari. He joins the investigation hoping to finally find answers to an unresolved personal stake of his own.

Face the Spirits That Hunt You

The darkness is filled with faces that refuse to be forgotten. From sorrowful apparitions to horrifying entities born from lingering hatred, every ghost you encounter hides a fragment of a mystery waiting to be uncovered.

But be warned: not every spirit wishes to be remembered. Some exist only to stop anyone from discovering the truth, forcing Utari, Raka and Arya to confront unimaginable horrors before they can reach the answers they seek.
