Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Sep 8 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

100 HIDDEN BIRDS — THE CITY HAS EYES, BEAKS AND VERY GOOD CAMOUFLAGE
Recommended — 8/10 100 hidden birds takes a very simple idea and executes it better than many games in the same series. One large hand-drawn city contains exactly 100 birds, and your entire job is to find every last one. There are no timers, penalties, upgrades or distractions. You scroll through the picture, study every roof, fence, wall, tree and window, then click anything that looks suspiciously bird-shaped. It sounds easy, and for the first 70 or 80 birds it mostly is. Then the relaxing search becomes a personal argument between you and one tiny line hidden inside a building.

Simple Gameplay That Understands Its Purpose
The complete game takes place inside one long black-and-white city illustration. Moving the mouse toward the top or bottom scrolls through the picture, while clicking a bird marks it, lowers the counter and unlocks one Steam achievement. That is the entire control system. There is nothing complicated to learn, and the game begins almost immediately. It works well as a short break or for anyone who wants a hidden-object game without a story constantly interrupting the search. There is no punishment for clicking the wrong object and no timer forcing you to rush. The challenge comes entirely from the artwork and how cleverly the birds are merged into it.

Better Hidden Than the Aliens
Compared with 100 hidden aliens, this game gives you a much clearer target. The birds can still have strange shapes, but they usually share enough recognizable features that finding one feels like solving the drawing rather than guessing what the developer decided should count. Many are hidden in plain sight. A roof tile becomes a wing, a fence becomes a body, a window becomes an eye and a piece of masonry suddenly turns into a bird when viewed from the correct angle. The artist also includes false shapes that resemble beaks, tails or complete birds without being clickable. That creates a better kind of difficulty. The birds are not simply tiny or placed in dark corners; they are integrated into the city itself. The final five or ten can still become difficult, and the lack of a hint system means there is no assistance after you have scanned the same area repeatedly. A hint button would improve the experience without removing the challenge.

Art Direction and Visual Design
The hand-drawn city is the strongest part of the game. It is filled with unusual houses, gates, trees, rooftops and small details that give the picture personality beyond functioning as a hiding place. The black-and-white presentation makes every line important. Since colour does not separate the birds from the scenery, you must recognize shape and structure. That allows the targets to blend naturally into the environment and makes the final discoveries feel earned. There are also cats hidden around the city as distractions. They cannot be collected, but they add character and are sometimes easier to notice than the actual birds. After staring at the dense line work for a long time, the picture can become tiring. Pressing N activates Night Mode, which may make longer searches more comfortable.

Music and Missing Settings
The soundtrack is energetic and much louder in personality than the calm gameplay. I enjoyed it at first, and it gives the game a recognizable identity, but one track repeated during a long search can eventually become distracting. The real problem is the lack of proper settings. There is no normal volume slider or mute option, so players who become tired of the music may need to adjust it through the operating system’s audio mixer. The edge-scrolling controls are also less comfortable than using the mouse wheel or clicking and dragging the picture. The game is intentionally minimalist, but basic audio and control options should still have been included.

Achievements, Completion and Replay Value
Every bird unlocks one achievement, giving the game 100 Steam achievements in total. For achievement hunters, this creates a constant stream of progress and an easy completed title once the final bird is found. The game also includes Steam trading cards, although it can be completed much faster than the normal card-drop period. Players interested in the full set may spend more time leaving it open than actively searching. Completion time depends on your eyesight and patience. Some players will finish within ten or twenty minutes, while others may spend much longer searching for the last few birds. Once all 100 have been found, there are no additional levels, random placements or bonus challenges. The game does not even provide a proper congratulations screen; the counter simply reaches zero and leaves you inside the same picture. A small ending message would have given the search a more satisfying conclusion. Progress and achievements can be reset by pressing
Del
followed by
Esc
, but the birds remain in the same locations, so replay value is limited.

Linux Experience
100 hidden birds officially lists Windows rather than a native Linux build, but it works through Steam Play and Proton. The game is also Steam Deck Verified. Community reports included with the Steam material describe it running without issues through Proton 6.3-5. The game requires only around 10 MB of storage, uses mouse input and has no demanding graphics or complicated dependencies. For Linux users, this should require little or no special configuration. A larger monitor is useful because several birds are hidden in small details, although the verified Steam Deck support makes it suitable for handheld play as well.

What Works

Clear and immediately understandable gameplay
Birds are cleverly integrated into the city artwork
More consistent targets than 100 hidden aliens
Detailed and charming hand-drawn illustration
No timer, penalties or unnecessary interruptions
100 easy Steam achievements
Steam trading cards and Night Mode
Very low hardware and storage requirements
Works through Proton and is Steam Deck Verified

What Does Not

No hint system for the final birds
No proper volume control or mute option
Awkward edge-scrolling controls
Only one illustration
Very short overall
Almost no replay value
No proper ending screen

Conclusion
100 hidden birds is one of the better entries in the 100 hidden objects series because the challenge usually feels deliberate rather than arbitrary. The birds are recognizable enough to provide a fair target, yet the artist hides them inside buildings, fences and scenery with enough creativity to make the final search genuinely challenging. It remains a very small game. There is only one picture, the settings are almost nonexistent and the experience ends the moment the counter reaches zero. Players looking for a substantial hidden-object adventure will find little here beyond a short search and 100 achievement notifications. For its low price, however, it works well as a relaxing break between larger games. The artwork is charming, the birds are satisfying to uncover and the final few can keep you searching much longer than expected. It is best purchased on sale or as part of the complete bundle, but hidden-object fans and achievement hunters should receive exactly what they came for. Final score: 8/10 Linux verdict: Works through Proton, needs very little hardware power and is Steam Deck Verified.
birds - это если что птицы
Ok bird-finding game but some of them are reaching/stretching a bit... assortment of bricks and fences to be seen as a blocky bird when combined the right way... it was a bit within what you expect but some of the last 5-10 I found felt a bit dumb. Otherwise chill game, relatively easy 100%

Casual game about finding 100 hidden creatures amongst the many objects
theres like 100 birds or something
