Жена сказала, что если на этом обзоре наберётся 10 лайков и 5 наград, то она подарит ящик пива. Мужики, выручайте!
Very fun. If the full game is anything like this (obvi it is lmao) it's gonna be great
Zoria: Prologue (2020) – It’s Free, So Why Not?
Zoria: Prologue is a free tactical RPG that gives you a few hours of decent fun, but it’s rough around the edges. You’ll get some classic isometric gameplay, a bit of story setup, and a look at the world of Zoria: Age of Shattering. It’s got that old-school CRPG vibe—turn-based combat, managing a party, and exploring a grim fantasy world. It’s not going to blow you away, but it’s a solid way to spend an evening if you like tactical games.

Gameplay – Slow Start, Decent Combat
The core gameplay is what you’d expect from a tactical RPG. You move your party around, take turns in combat, and try to figure out how not to get your squad killed. The combat system is fine—not groundbreaking, but solid. Positioning matters, and you’ve got to think through your moves. Where the game struggles a bit is itemization. Loot is boring. You don’t get that satisfying feeling of upgrading your gear, and most items feel pretty basic. It’s not a huge deal in a short prologue, but it’s worth mentioning.

Story and Atmosphere – It’s Bleak, but It Works
The story setup is your typical “world is falling apart, go fix it” kind of deal. Nothing revolutionary, but it does the job. The real draw is the atmosphere. The game world feels lived-in, with that classic medieval fantasy vibe—ruined villages, dark forests, and a general sense that things have gone to hell. It’s got that melancholic tone that works well in these types of games. There’s a bit of hope buried in all the gloom, and that keeps things interesting.

Presentation – Looks Good, Feels a Bit Clunky
Visually, the game looks nice for an indie title. It’s got a clean, isometric style that feels familiar if you’ve played old-school RPGs. The UI, though, could use some polish. It’s not awful, but it’s a bit clunky in places. The music and sound are fine. Nothing that stands out, but it fits the tone of the game.

What’s Good

Decent tactical combat
Nice atmosphere and visuals
Free to play

What’s Not

Boring loot and itemization
Some clunky UI elements
Feels more like a demo than a complete experience

Final Verdict – Worth a Try if You Like Tactical RPGs
It’s free, so you’re not losing anything by trying it. The gameplay is decent, the atmosphere is solid, and if you’re into tactical RPGs, you’ll probably find something to like here. It’s not going to change your life, but it’s a nice little time-waster. If nothing else, it made me curious to check out the full game. Just don’t expect perfection—it’s a prologue, after all.
Didn't like it. No sir, didn't like it one bit. Didn't like the stats, they felt off and very non intuitive. There was no key mapping. Hopefully they fix that in the full game. Skills were very limited. I very much dislike the mechanic of having to build focus before you can use most of your skills. Again, this just feels dumb and pointless. The game design itself was a turn off, I will be removing the full game off my wish list. Maybe this game is right for some people, it just isn't for me.

I like this game, it has its flaws but combat, music, story and exploration are kinda interesting.
