If you are expecting zoo tycoon then you will be disappointed. Has decent graphics and looks good sometimes. The game has few bugs which leads to progression stoppage in the missions. Can try on offer and try to have fun. I would recommended 6/10 if that is any good for you to try the genre.
I can't get past the task that says "Visitors tend to lose things. Find them and move them to the staff area so they can be returned." It's literally unplayable until I pass this point and I can't. It won't let me. What am I supposed to do here?

ZooKeeper, developed by ▲ Pyramid Games and published by Gaming Factory and Ultimate Games S.A., is a lighthearted simulation game that places players in the role of a zoo manager tasked with building, organizing, and maintaining a thriving animal park. The game emphasizes creativity and management, allowing players to design enclosures, expand exhibits, and curate a space that balances animal welfare with visitor satisfaction. Set in a vibrant low-poly world, ZooKeeper provides a casual and approachable experience aimed at both younger audiences and players seeking a relaxed pace in a management simulation. In ZooKeeper, the core gameplay revolves around constructing habitats suited to various species, taking into account environmental preferences such as terrain and climate. Players must also manage daily operations, including staffing, feeding routines, and ensuring cleanliness, all while keeping visitors entertained. This management loop encourages players to think strategically about resource allocation and layout design, as the arrangement of paths, exhibits, and amenities directly affects visitor flow and satisfaction. By focusing on both animal care and guest experience, the game attempts to create a holistic zoo management experience. Visually, the game adopts a simplistic low-poly aesthetic that emphasizes bright colors and clear design over intricate detail. While this style lends the game a charming and playful look, some animations, particularly of animals and guests, can feel stiff or unrealistic, occasionally breaking immersion. Visitors’ erratic movements and rapid pace have also been noted as minor distractions, which can make the zoo feel less lifelike. Nonetheless, the minimalist art direction allows players to focus on management decisions and gameplay without being overwhelmed by visual complexity. The audio design complements the game’s casual tone, featuring a soothing and repetitive soundtrack that reinforces the laid-back atmosphere of the zoo. Ambient sounds, such as animal noises and the chatter of visitors, add to the charm, though some players may desire greater variation in music and effects to maintain engagement during extended play sessions. The combination of sound and visual style creates a cozy environment suitable for relaxed gameplay sessions, even if it lacks the immersive depth found in more complex simulation titles. Despite its accessible design, ZooKeeper has faced criticism for its limited gameplay depth and repetitive tasks. Micromanagement elements, such as constant feeding, cleaning, and maintenance, can become tedious over time, while the progression system offers few meaningful rewards to motivate long-term engagement. This repetition may detract from the overall experience for players seeking a more strategic or expansive management simulation, as the game primarily rewards routine completion rather than innovative problem-solving or creative planning. In conclusion, ZooKeeper is a charming, casual zoo management simulator that excels as a relaxing and approachable experience. Its colorful low-poly visuals, gentle soundtrack, and straightforward mechanics make it suitable for casual gamers and younger audiences who enjoy light management games. However, its limited depth, repetitive gameplay, and occasional mechanical quirks may leave more experienced simulation players wanting a richer, more engaging experience. Overall, ZooKeeper provides a pleasant and stress-free way to engage with zoo management but stops short of offering the complex challenges found in more sophisticated simulation titles. Rating: 6/10

After playing this game for few hours I need to say that this game is really fun. It has some major problems but it can be fixed with some upcoming patch. It has really cool low poly graphics and decent gameplay. If you have some spare money, I totally reccomend this game to you. This is a fun, laid-back management sim at a great price. If you enjoy other zoo building or city building games, you should try this one out. It's similar to other indie games in the genre and reminds me of the game Parkasaurus (zoo building for dinos). It's a fairly short and small game when compared to something like Planet Zoo but it's also a very affordable game (less than $7 during a sale). There are also quite a few items to use to decorate the exhibits and zoo as you progress. More than I expected from a game at this price.
Great concept but buggy. cant pick up lost items. the camera controls are wonky. And honestly those things were enough to make the game frustrating enough to stop playing. After turning it on and finally being able to sit down and play I am pretty unimpressed.
