This game has a fun aesthetic along with polished mechanics. Every gun is something unique that you most likely haven't seen in other games. The prison/map has different path options giving good replayability.

**** UPDATE: FEB 17th RE-REVIEW: **** I took a fresh look at the changes made to the game since my first review and found a lot of really big problems that are "easy" fixes that I honestly feel a LOT of indie developers can learn a lot from in this new 33 minute video: https://youtu.be/7ILwGv1Pq9c --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **** ORIGINAL UN-ALTERED REVIEW FROM FEB 10, 2023 **** GAWD DAMMMMMM!!! This game is INFURIATING!! It's nothing but a broken pile of assets right now at launch!! ARGHHHH! ..Do you want to spend $4 USD to have a frustrating BAD time?!? ..Well look no further! https://youtu.be/yvWi8tqvXn0 We'll see if this indie developer actually cares enough to FIX his broken mess OR if he does like so many hot headed asset cobbling developers do and if he blames me or my PC or asks me what PC specs I have or some other stupid crap. NOT RECOMMENDED.. Unless you want to pay money for an ulcer that is.
Full Disclosure: I am an early playtester for the game, a friend to the creator, and have received the title for free (although I have donated money to help contribute to the game's development, if that changes anything). Zombie Prison Break is an indie FPS wave-shooter inspired by the likes of CoD's nazi zombies, and is chock-full of unique weapons, randomized powerups, and easter eggs that make for an entertaining few hours of gameplay. As a first foray into the game development scene, it is an admirable recreation of many of the aspects that make a zombie wave-shooter enjoyable, and the creator has been diligent about fixing bugs and tweaking gameplay—it has come a very long way since its inception. Does it have a triple-A level of polish and detail? Of course not. Is it entertaining as heck to play around with different combinations of guns and powerups for a few hours? Absolutely. I wouldn't have playtested it otherwise. I highly recommend this title to anyone wanting to support the budding efforts of who I know to be a very talented, attentive, and capable game developer. Also I just found a gun that shoots you in the face if you fire it, and I'm not sure I've laughed that hard at a game in a while. Solid 8/10 time.
This game is amazing, there are very mild bugs like zombies standing on tables but it reminds me of making a crawler in Black Ops and I was going for that in later levels so I could go get the guns and perks I wanted. Collecting the orbs to receive the "magical" (for lack of better term) weapon was a fun challenge to the game as well. I look forward to seeing what the creator will add to the game. For now the four dollars to buy the game is well worth it and with all the potential there is for growth I think this is a steal of a deal for what is here and yet to come. 9/10 overall and I think everyone should try it out if you enjoy a zombie FPS. (also to anyone that does get the game, wait until the late game and pick up the JK-47. The gun is insane.)
Hey everybody make sure to use the JK-47 it is soooooooo OP!
This game is better than sex. I would know ive had it.
