Zombie Maze is another asset flip/shovelware game from Quarlellle. This time they've taken a basic Unreal 2D top down shooter template and put it into a maze. What innovation. This is the kind of game that puts forward a solid argument for Valve introducing quality control on Steam. Quarlellle have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected in the general public reception. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 2 players. That's right, only 2. This is a pitiful enough number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam, the overwhelming lack of interest in the game is remarkable, but also to be expected. This complete and utter rejection of the game from gamers should be a keen information point for anyone considering buying shovelware like this. Gamers just didn't take this seriously, and for good reason. Zombie Maze is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend.

Took me 9 minutes to be the game, here is my review. Music is too loud, zombies blend in with the white floor, no blood, no WASD just hold W and point the mouse where you want to run (which is dumb meaning you can't fight the zombies while moving unless you're running at them). Also the game description says "Go through the most difficult maze from start to finish, along the way, shooting back from the bloodthirsty hordes of zombies!", Yet I never once saw more than 1 zombie on screen at once, so that is just a straight up lie. Overall 2/10 Not even remotely fun.

This game, is amazing, magnificent, words cannot describe the sheer beauty and groundbreaking gameplay. You start off as a little boy, with a gun, soulless, being chased by raging flesh craving zombies in a labyrinth of despair. You gotta find your way out, I was in tears whenever I failed. I felt as though I was useless. As I progressed I realised the deeper meaning, the lore. I have now ascended to the heavens, I know everything, the meaning of life, and the meaning of Zombie Maze. This game has enlightened me.
