Quite fun, time well spent though it gets repetitive after a while and I honestly wish they added more content but its still good nonetheless

A gloriously dumb, blood-soaked car-combat throwback that is absolute peak arcade fun, even if it drives in circles after a few hours. If your childhood was filled with fond memories of top-down destruction, Zombie Driver HD by EXOR Studios is basically a weaponized shot of pure arcade nostalgia. The game plays like a glorious, hyper-violent love letter to the original 90s Grand Theft Auto titles, swapping out innocent pedestrians for massive, tightly packed hordes of the undead. The core gameplay loop is beautifully primal: you jump into a heavily armored vehicle, slam your foot on the gas pedal, and barrel through city streets while listening to a chorus of satisfying, wet, squishy thumps. Earning fat post-mission paychecks to fully deck out your ride with dual machine guns, flamethrowers, and rocket launchers creates an incredibly high-dopamine, low-stress trance that captures the exact magic of classic 2010s PC gaming. The campaign starts off as a wonderfully chaotic thrill ride, throwing you into 31 fast-paced missions where you are driftslamming a taxi, school bus, or literal tank through waves of walkers to rescue stranded survivors. The kinetic weight of the driving is incredibly tight, and hitting a nitrous boost to plow straight through an entire block of flesh-eaters is an unmatched cathartic release. The game also pads out the package with a brutal, wave-based Slaughter Mode and a surprisingly aggressive Blood Race tournament, giving you plenty of variety in how you choose to paint the pavement red. Watching zombie parts and building debris realistically scatter under your headlights thanks to the polished HD visual overhaul keeps the mindless violence feeling immensely punchy. However, just like the classic dungeon crawlers of its era, Zombie Driver HD runs face-first into a very rigid wall of repetition. Once the initial novelty of turning walkers into speed bumps wears off, you realize the mission structure repeats itself ad nauseam. Whether you are destroying zombie spawning nests, defending a military perimeter, or escorting a slow-moving van, you are essentially doing the exact same handbrake turns and circle-strafing maneuvers across a handful of cramped maps. The total lack of co-op or online multiplayer means the engine is left carrying the entire weight of the experience solo, which can make the grind feel a bit tedious by the time you reach the final mutated boss battles. It is a fantastic, high-octane palate cleanser to enjoy in short bursts, but it definitely lacks the long-term mechanical depth to keep you hooked for a massive marathon session. 8/10 — I strapped a rocket launcher to a city bus, drifted through a massive crowd of zombie dogs, and painted the entire neighborhood red. It gets incredibly repetitive by mission 15, but for a mindless evening of vehicular homicide, it's an absolute classic.
