Zombie Craft by Crafty Games (PC) 2021 This is a free game on Steam which seems to be a poor man’s rendition of Minecraft. I assume it is from a Russian Indie Dev as the game is supposed to be translated in both Russian and English. The Steam Store page is misleading as a few screenshots seem to indicate several levels to the game, however after careful scrutiny I have come to the opinion that there is only one level and that night time is considered another level and what I call the ‘Red Event’ is another level which seems to randomly spawn in after several nights. The initial premise of the developer seems to have been to create a crafting game where your forced to go out and brave the night against red crystallised zombies and collect special building materials such as Trillium which falls out of the sky and then craft and dig during the day time the other materials you need. However, this premise was completely ruined by the Developer never turning off his cheat and so as soon as you spawn in, just press the letter ‘N’ on your keyboard. Congratulations you now have the most powerful armour in the game and it hasn’t even been ten seconds yet. The only thing left to do is get a trillium sword. For this you will need 10 hydrogen's. Hydrogen is a blue building block usually found around iron. Only problem is digging zaps you of stamina and once you have lost all 5 stamina you can begin to starve and lose health (your 5 hearts) really quickly. So, you will need to go on a sheep killing spree. Killing sheep by hand is a pain as your sucker punches seem to sky launch them at times and it always take 3 hits. Whereas killing them by an iron sword only needs one hit. To get an iron sword you will need 7 quartz and 7 iron. Both materials are aplenty at your home base on the wall opposite your crafting table. Congratulations, it’s probably been another minute and now you’re a sword swinging bad-ass. Time to go slaughtering. Just shift run around pretending your Conan the Barbarian. Kill as many sheep as possible. There are two ways to rebuild your health. The most important is your stamina. It should not be zero. Eat protein twice when your close to zero and it should keep your belly full. Second way is to rebuild your life hearts, this is done by crafting a potion on your crafting table. Have you lost your home? Don’t worry, this is where we can take advantage and farm the second thing the dev has kindly given us. Exit the game and then immediately press continue game. It will immediately send you back to your base and to the morning of day 1, but you will still be blessed with all the items you have thus far collected. With keep inventory on, you should have plenty of fuel to farm for hydrogen. You can find clumps of 5 hydrogen blocks placed together if you know where to look (30:35 mark in my video shows you where one is). Just dig down and collect the hydrogen, exit game and then press continue and repeat. You should now have enough material for a Trillium sword and be able to craft every item in the game. Congratulations. It’s been about 20 minutes and you should be a Zombie Crafting Deity. To prove it, all you need to do is survive the last thing to do in the game which is the ‘Red Event’. As far as I know this seems to be random. I came across one sometime after the 6th night, once I came across it on the third night. You will know when it has happened as the sky turns red, occasionally lightning flashes, the zombies are more aplenty and faster, but nothing a Trillium sword wielding Deity can’t handle. As far as I know, this is as much the game currently has on offer at the moment. I said at the beginning of the review that the screenshots on the Steam store page are misleading. Two of the screenshots show the developer holding a red sword which I assume he spawned in for himself as there isn’t one in game. Another screenshot shows 2 trillium blocks on a barren hilly landscape, again misleading as I believe the developer de-spawned all the zombies so he could take a proper screenshot of the trillium blocks. The steam store page says you can ‘Free Civilians’, ‘Fight with Firearms’, ‘Shooting materials can only be found at night’, ‘Find every Zombie Lair’, ‘Free the planet of zombie apocalypse’, ‘Invite your friends to play WITH you’ and ‘can acquire useful items to strengthen the house’. NONE of these statements are true. Finally, the theme Title picture has blue and red crystallised zombies in it. Blue one’s do not exist in game. If the building mechanics was fixed, and turning didn’t require axe swings across your mouse pad due to bad mouse sensitivity. If there were more things to collect at night and various mob spawns, then this may have been a decent game. Basically, if what the developer wrote on the Steam page was true, then this would be something I can recommend, but at present, its Minecraft with some type of incestuous down syndrome. https://youtu.be/HBujbyl1WDE?feature=shared My Reviews: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/6843548/ My Zombie Wiki Discord: https://discord.gg/cCCA44f

Where to begin on this. Firstly, we all know this is not Minecraft, never will be. I am sure some will think it is if they just hear about it (some wild stuff out there) just my guess inspired by it in some way, now that's out of the way. I wanted to know as much as I could before doing this so I can say what is okay or wrong, needless to say did not take long. To begin, the movement of the mouse is so slow, you pretty much have to move and drag over and over again just to look around which is not ideal for combat at all, gets tedious and needs work. Second, there is an auto jump and only an auto jump, there is no button to jump yourself at all so a bit annoying Minecraft has that as well but you can shut it off, which leads me to number 3, there are no settings what so ever. No menu, no button, just no settings what so ever, so you can not adjust problem number 1 with the slow mouse tracking or number 2 to turn off auto jump if you wanted and possibly set a keybind for jumping, nor graphical or screen res settings, just continue or exit via the escape button. Forth, your only source of food is from what looks to me as demon sheep, they take 3 hits to kill with your hands and they only drop 1 protein which is only used for your stamina bar, if you are low on stamina one of them fills it all the way back up, would be better if it only allowed it to go up only a certain amount not fully so you would have to source more not just smack, "mine", eat 1 and repeat for a bit until it runs out again, which it running out takes a bit on mobs like the demon sheep or the glowy zombie things, it is super slow on them but if you mine recourse (not much of them) it takes more of a chunk out and if you get low your health starts lowering, could be better. does not heal you if you eat as well, you need 3 protein to make a potion that looks like it heals you, honestly do not like that, speaking of health you get smacked by one of the glowy zombies and they are on you then your health goes down super quick, you can smack them and they fly back and eventually despawn if you keep it up, nothing that really indicates to you that your health is lowering either I happened to notice it as there were some in a train I made, half way down and it was rapidly decreasing as it kept hanging on to me from behind. If you leave your crafting post you best find a way to mark your way back because if you lose it, you are SOL, no other way to craft besides there, only thing you can do is see your inventory while away and even then that is kind of lack luster, simple, can not see what the character looks like just some slots, not much else to be completely honest, when you can craft it is also lacking, mostly armor and weapons, and the potion, not much, can't even make a bed to sleep you have to fight no matter what, they will find you, also the hit box for the player when mining or hitting an enemy/mob, that goes out a good ways, you do not have to be right up close to destroy items and one hit they're broken and you get the resources, simple recipes as well, just get one thing of material and there you go, item. The blocks are kind of lacking as well to build it is 1 or 2 items that you can from what I saw, couldn't look again because the little base thing is lost. I could not get to the point of having enough items and keep interest while at the same time making sure nothing goes down too too low which would harm me and kill me, could be better than just smack and there is an item not to mention the mobs that are faster than you are so 9 times out of 10 you either get hit by the glowy zombies and can not escape unless you smack them, or you try to get the demon sheep and they fly away or turn around which takes 10 years to turn around as well so you can hit again, as well as you try to hit it again you can sometimes grab an item like you are mining. It could have some potential as an alternative with some work put into it not just a game slapped together and think you will gain traction, there is more to it than just slap together and publish, all the non recommendations are justified but can be fixed with a bit of time and a bit more effort and learning. But for now on something that has not seen an update as far as I am aware, I would not recommend this to anyone, it is not that fun of an experience and you will more than likely just pull out your hair trying to just move the mouse, hopefully the dev will work more on it. I would change my review then
this is way better than minecraft. does minecraft have crystallized hydrogen? no it doesnt. does minecraft have african american sheep? no it doesnt. whoever rates this game negatively just doesnt understand the true art of zombie craft
И че тут делать? https://youtu.be/7Tciu_rHcpE
"Zombie Craft" was an attempt at making a ripoff of Minecraft, only the developer was so incapable they came up with this atrocious barebones, non-functional pre-alpha/tech demo. It's fundamentally broken and doesn't work as a game, yet here it is, clogging up Steam. More pollution for gamers to have to wade through. This game is a great example to demonstrate why, although well intentioned, Steam Direct and Steam Early Access are failures that have resulted in far more harm than good, rewarding developers for not bothering to finish games, and allowing all kinds of valueless junk like this to glut the store. How is any of that good for gamers? This featured fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which deterred a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and it's clear the developers behind this didn't understand that. Developers have to learn Minecraft succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. It's free for now, but the developer intends to charge for this if it ever leaves Early Access... but considering the poor public reception, it's likely this will not be one of the 25% of games that ever gets finished and leaves Early Access. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 4 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
Çok kaba bir oyun ama bunu tamamen çerezlik için oynayabilirsiniz. Tabi ki tekerlek geliştirmek öyle bir fikir ki, Minecraft zaten var. Oyunun yeniden rafine edilmesi gerekiyor.
One of the best games i ever played. I think minecraft ripped off this game i think the medkits need a bit off a buff they only give 1 heart but other than that i think this game has some of the most insane graphics and gameplay. Before this i had no girlfriend a small pp and 0 friends but now i have a small pp no girlfriend and 0 friends. i cant believe this game is free they need to make it cost more for what its worth. This game is amazing! It has stunning graphics, engaging gameplay, and a captivating story. I love how it challenges me to think creatively and strategically. The characters are well-developed and the voice acting is superb. This game is a masterpiece of art and entertainment. Please play this game at least once in your life your missing out.
