TL;DR : The game is exactly as advertised by the developer. Glitches and poor translation lead to some unintended humor. Game is short. Only a dollar though, so it's worth it if you're curious. So this game is a little rough around the edges. The actual controls and gameplay are fine as far as FPS games go, nothing that stands out, but nothing bad either. The idea of having a medic with you in a horror game setting is pretty interesting. Nagase auto-heals you if you're close to her but she can't heal herself. That's actually a cool mechanic, in theory. The stress comes more from trying to keep her alive rather than yourself. Except it doesn't end up playing that way. This game isn't really about firefights, so keeping her alive is never too tough. It's worth mentioning that, officially, this game doesn't contain jumpscares, but all enemies, and Nagase, move silently so there is a good chance of something sneaking up on you. I shot Nagase like three times on accident (and maybe screamed a little). The story seems like it could be interesting but the english translation is poor. The grammar and spelling is actually fine, but it's all summaries of information, whereas it was clearly meant to be dialogue between characters in the original Japanese. The graphics are basic but there are a fair amount of custom assets, namely the character models. Honestly, I went back and forth on whether to recommend this one or not but there's very little about this game that's truly bad. It's mostly bland, with a few cool ideas that were attempted. The developer clearly did the best they could. The lengthy game description on the store page and the low price point also shows their honesty about the final product. If you're curious, give it a shot. Otherwise, maybe wait for future games from Sonic-Alpha to see how they improve. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fz-e_m7gadw
This game is ass
When I have more time, I will come back and give this game the detailed analysis it deserves, but for the time being, let me just say that most of you are not yet ready for this game. In 5, 10 years we will look back at this avant-garde masterpiece of gaming meta-commentary and savor every second of its hazy obscurantist labyrinthian splendor. This game breaks the script like no other. Like House of Leaves, the first building you enter is tremendously bigger on the inside than on the outside. After I nearly ♥♥♥♥♥♥ myself when an enemy, whose distorted proportions made him as tall as the ceiling (as low?), speed-walked toward me with an axe screaming in high-pitched backward Japanese, I went into an office and found a book set on an pedestal like the bible, but when you read it is copy pasted from the Wikipedia page on water. The next thing I know I am in some futuristic complex, my NPC assistant is creepily T-modeling behind me, the hallways are twisting into themselves like the lines on a palm-- my brain is starting to squirm. For the first time in probably 15 years of gaming, I felt like almost anything was possible in the next room. Appreciating this game unfortunately might require having taken at least some introductory level art history classes. The game features numerous elements of the Russian avant-garde of the early 20th century in particular, breaking the 4th wall by calling attention to its own constructed-ness with immersion-busting gestures such as placing text prompts on certain spaces of the map so they repeat literally every time you walk over them, or obliterating the tired conventions video game puzzle solving by presenting "puzzles" that are so ham-fisted and forthright they nearly assault you with the devices they employ. The creators of Zero Spring make it disturbingly clear that behind the curtain of our little Oz game-worlds are men and machines pulling the strings, a simple glitch, a furtive gaze through a glass darkly spies the wizard, and the entire facade begins to unravel-- and when that happens, at that moment, where will we be? Zero Spring leaves the player feeling like they are deep in a k-hole in low budget Japanese haunted house, or perhaps that they have woken up after 10 years in a coma in some dystopian nightmare world with severe brain damage. It is exquisite.
I paid money for this. If I wasn't streaming and laughing with my chat, I'd be angry.
This game was absolutely beautiful. I got this game gifted and the game was so good the story was really compelling and it had some good jumpscares. The FPS part of the game was really good and the guns were really well made. Throughout playing the game I found no bugs at all and I definitely recommend this game to anyone looking to play a under appreciated game. 9/10

When i could play the game...... it was bad. bad controls, Non Existent AI, a nonsensical plot (Might be a translation issue) and a game willing to crash every time i boot it up. like i understand what the developer wants to achieve, but using GameGuru requires a far greater knowledge of programming to make it run and this clearly was beyond the developer at this time. Is it S***e...... Yes
game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ blows
