About
Zaru is a single-player, first-person, retro-style horror game in which your goal is to lock up a warehouse on a night whilst avoiding various monsters that can only be detected by giving up sight, hearing or speech through in-game mechanics.
You are a warehouse worker in 1980's America. Your job is to lock up the warehouse on an evening after work. Except you aren't alone.
Beings roam behind and between the shelves. Beings that can't be perceived conventionally.
To witness their movements you will have to give up one sense to enhance another e.g. giving up your sight to be able to accurately hear a being and where it is.
Swap between your senses to keep on top of the beings' movements while making sure you don't neglect any of them.
To survive, you must complete various tasks given by fellow employees, lock up and don't let the beings touch you.
No-one is around to save you when something goes wrong.
Avoiding the monsters by swapping your sensory prowess
Doing tasks left by fellow workers
Shouting at a pigeon to get it out of the warehouse
Microphone required for gameplay, headphones recommended for intended experience.

A unique concept and excellent visual design make up for some excitingly cursed work experience, played majority of my time so far on the beta but excited for this full release any issues I've reported so far since my time as a beta tester and beyond have been ironed out rapidly keep up the good work and looking forward to future projects!
cool game with really interesting features to find the ghosts. crashed a lot on launch but after the most recent patch it works again. now possible to pass night 4. 10/10
I enjoyed my first day at work... DAD.
Unable to proceed with the game due to an error! From day two, the game will end with a random fatal error! (LowLevelFatalError [File:D:\build\++UE5\Sync\Engine\Source\Runtime\Core\Private\HAL\MallocBinned2.cpp] [Line: 1438] FMallocBinned2 Attempt to realloc an unrecognized block 0000017655B10000 canary == 0xe7 != 0xe3)
The game seems to be interestin but I couldn't figure out that floor plan for the life of me. Didn't know where to put the crates and couldnt crouch in warehouse for some reason. Still I'll thumb it up coz those issues were probably on me. Gameplay Impressions: https://youtu.be/rqBj-eA1rdM
