This game is quite good!!! Very short (to me that's a good thing) but nonetheless a memorable little shmup. Beautiful and unique art style, this little shmup is quite on the easy side, but still very engaging and enjoyable. Even though it is very beginner friendly, be sure to check the guide option on the main menu before hopping on the story mode.

Cool little shmup with online leaderboards, offering rewarding gameplay. Thumbs up! (8/10)
One of my favourite shmups on Steam.
So I'm a newbie to shmups, only ever played Mushihime-sama and Deathsmiles. First off I wanna ssay the graphics are awesome. You have these fleshy monstrous enemies while you're just a mechanical ship which shows the contrast and really shows how good the sprite art is. You have 2 firing modes like in every other shmup but what differentiates this one is the bomb system. The first level you might play like me and get a little lost just shooting like in other shmups, you very soon notice picking up bomb items immediately detonates them so you wonder what's actually going on, you then notice the bomb counter in the top right be a bar that refills. This honestly suprised me, like why is it a bar? Did I mess something up? Then I used the bomb button and it didn't clear the screen, no it only cleared and damaged anything within a little circle around the ship and started refilling. This had me stoked, a bomb on an actual refill? Then I panicked and again pressed while it was refilling and it short circuited the bomb and just cleared an even smaller circle of bullets around you. This is such a cool and engaging mechanic since it wasn't just put in but instead the level design actually takes advantage of the bomb from level 2 onward, for example you have enemies behind flesh walls you can't shoot and have to instead kill with the full bomb bar, this just makes the whole game so fun and honestly I might say from these 3 shmups I played this one might be the most fun and interesting just bc of this clever mechanic. So I definitely recommend for the price
Very nice little shmup with great bomb/bullet cancel mechanic. Screenshots look chaotic, but game presentation reads very well, although for my taste they overdid it with flashing colors. I'm not good at shmups, so I play on easy, and easy mode in this game was very much doable after couple of tries for me (not quite 1cc, but still), while not feeling too easy. Overall feel of the game (movement, shots, bombing) is great.
I like this game, but I would recommend giving more continues. Bombs charge fast to get you through, but overall more continues are necessary. I purchased Z Warp on sale, but unless you're really good at shmups, I wouldn't recommend Z Warp unless the game is on sale. Overall a beautiful looking and sounding game. 1 continue is not enough. I probably would need at least 3 to finish the game, and I'm talking easy mode.
I really don't have much to say about Z-Warp. It's a competently-made shmup, and a very short and easy one at that. If you are fairly experienced in this genre and remember to read the in-game guide, it can take you about 20-30 minutes to finish the whole game and then maybe 10 minutes more to 100% the game. As there's actually nothing else to do in the game other than trying to get a higher score and to 1cc the game for bragging rights, and there aren't any classic achievements such as "beat the game on easy/normal/hardcore" or "beat level x without losing a life", I heavily recommend getting this game on sale. There are two problems that can sour the experience though. First, the game does not have any kind of key rebinding feature; so you're stuck with default keybinds. Second, the game REALLY goes overboard with high contrast colors and flashing lights, and this can cause eye strain pretty fast. So watch out if you have epileptic issues.
corto y divertido. el soundtrack la rompe. Compratelo perejil o vas a seguir jugando a jueguitos de cortar leña? djate de joder.-
Great Game, but i think the price is a little too much, ive seen bigger games for less price.
