Z.O.M.B.I.E.

This is a classic shooter that resembles Doom, but in this game, your enemy is a horde of zombies. Fun, fervent, familiar from childhood. The main character is a very brutal girl who can shoot even with two shotguns at the same time. I would like to see achievements in this game because achievements for me are always a plus.

This reminded me of when a gamedev coded Wolf3D into a somewhat playable javascript 5 kilobites of code. Lee Semel's toned down javascript characters had ASCII characters and emoji villains, but it had the heart of Wolf3D, if not the tech. Similarly, this game seems like it was pushed together for a two-day cramming near deadlines of a gamejam. It seems like the creators used 001: Game Creator (which I think is strong in its own right because of the "logic' A/I - protagonists can hide in the shadows from enemies) without knowing about its strengths (or limitations) and made it up as they went. The sheer crudity (no fisticuffs/melee) make me think that it wasn't made using FPSCREATOR or even RayGameDesigner (1/2) but the audacity to release it this way is oddly inspirational. The music's good, and the graphics would be in the same residence as classic Wolfenstein.
