- First of all, it's a dead program. Latest Update was in 2020, and latest news was in 2022 - Second, I've requested a takedown/deletion of my account and data, but have yet to recieve a respond, not even respond from an automated bot. - Third. The program works, but the calorie tracking is VERY wrong. I didn't expect it to be 100% accurate, not even 90%, but someone else have mentioned, while compared to, lets say your watch, or something else that tracks your workout, it overestimated how many calories you've burned. sometimes by 2x or 3x. It's not to be trusted and it's basically just a program to see numbers go up.
?? it just lies ??

YUR is Dead and barely working. Don't bother with it. You dont get support and most stuff is behind paywalls.
"YUR" is a VR exclusive fitness tracker that requires a mobile app be installed (and all the privacy invasion that goes along with that) to unlock most of the functionality. Requiring a mobile app to play a PC game is cancer. Cancer is the opposite of fitness. Just get Wii fit or something. Or go outside, how about that. Or stay home and play much better games.
VR is one of the only reasons I'm not fat.
I used to love YUR, back when it started I actually felt like the values were accurate (at least for Heartrate, compared it to my Smartwatch). Just gave it a try since years ago, cant say much for the calories, but the heartrate just doesnt fit at all anymore, and thus im also sure the calories calculated are too low. If i can even by counting tell my heartrate is over 120bpm, it sure is not between 100-120 (which it just moves between in the estimated value), if my smartwatch and chest tracker confirm it being more like 160bpm, its definetly off, by quite a lot. The highest it got estimated ingame was 130ish bpm, my tracker told me 178. Yea i remember YUR being much more accurate back then, which is quite sad because i do not know any other VR-kcal-tracker currently. Im better of just estimating it by experience and putting it into google fit than using YUR. Edit just after release of my rating: YUR isnt even able to connect to google fit anymore because it gets blocked by Google. So yea no reason for me to use it at all anymore sadly.
In it's current form trying to utilize discord, the app and linking it all seems to be broken. They are still taking money of course as would any company. The biggest issue right now is their support system in none existent. There seems to be no passion towards the community they once had. the Discord server is just bots, rule breakers and spam. The support channel no one replies not the owner or the staff even though you are instructed to contact them. I feel like this is in a state of employees or volunteers who have signed NDAs and an owner not knowing how to tackle the current state of the software without further issues. It's a theory but this is the hunch I have based on the AI art on their instagram and lack of ANY interaction from their entire staff.
It's suck, the overlays still visible even when you have this stupid program uninstalled
Was amazing when VR was new. Tried it again and it is barely working. Also google integration is broken so i can no longer access my old account. This App is left to die.
Early Acess forever
