you me nickel
such an interesting game i love yume nikki and monoko
(review copied from my backloggd!!) There's little games that speak so much without having barely any line of dialogue. It's no wonder it inspired so many great rpgs that are still relevant to this day (I'm looking at you tricky toby) from it's inspirations that come straight out of PS1's LSD Dream Emulator, Mother and the original Final Fantasy for the NES, to its silliest moments as the witch or the numbers' world with KyuuKyuu to it's deepest nightmares with Uboa or the Red King (FACE) it's an experience that i fully recommend to anyone who loves environmental storytelling, and who isn't scared of the walking sim experience This is a game that speaks about depression like no other, and yes, funny reference about the earthbound inspired rpgs about depression, but seriously, only masterpieces like NITW get close to the raw interpretation we see in Madotsuki's dreams, as someone who has frequent nightmares and nightterrors, this game just gets it. anyways what's ur nasu highscore?

Absolutely incredible, and it's amazing finally being able to play this game knowing all of the games that are inspired by it! Very fun!

yummy nickel
You'll get the most enjoyment by exploring the vast dream worlds and admiring the music and art, not just trying to find every effect asap. I don't want it to be over!
