Se dice comúnmente que las narrativas nos abren puertas a mundos posibles. Pero yo diría que las narrativas "nos abren los ojos a otras perspectivas", no para ser más correcto (puesto que la expresión lleva acaso el mismo grado de poeticidad que la otra) sino para hacer referencia a la mecánica que me sorprendió en este bello cuento... Tus Últimas Palabras es un título minimalista que, literal y jugablemente, "nos abre los ojos" ante la perspectiva de un hombre que está a punto de morir. Por ello, resulta una reflexión en torno a lo que es una narrativa misma: algo que, a través de cualquiera de nuestros sentidos o en conjunto, nos permite ser otro.
