Great game to have on standby and manage periodically. The monsters are cute and the game loop is wonderfully simple. UI and controls need a slight adjustment but it is easy to work around and doesnt hinder the game. I have completed most of the game and feel very satisfied. Will pick this back up if a DLC is made that adds more monsters and Crops.

Monsters have different roles: some plant seeds, others water crops, and others harvest them. Rare monsters can perform all tasks. The game has two currencies: diamonds, used to hatch monster eggs, and coins, used to buy land, expand territory, and place decorations with various effects. I'm a college student and when I had rlly busy days, it didn't let me play more "beefy" games (mass effect, mc, etc.) or more time consuming games, so if you're looking something similarly low maintenance that won't kill you, an AFK game without damage and self-running; This is great. It takes awhile to get coins and diamonds, but that won't be much of a problem if you're busy since it'll feel alot when you collect them. There's different options for the small screen (full screen, auto-hide, hiding behind other tabs), sounds and music volume, which is really convenient. My only thing is that eventually I might hit a road block (as in gotten every goal), so maybe they should add smth new soon, or add a mini customizable avatar :'3

My husband bought this for me after he got me my first PC. It's adorable and colorful and emotionally satisfying. The first thing I do in the morning when I open my computer is load the game, and the last thing I do at night before shutting down my computer is exit the game. It runs in the background while I play other games, read, write, and watch tv. It is slow progress like any idle game. but watching things progress is fun. I find myself checking the game every half hour or so. but if you forget about it it just keeps running fine. Plus its a great place holder screen when you dont want others looking at what you're doing on the computer you just minimize and they see the idle game.
