It's really just a short film but a competent one and considering its free it's also got considerably good production values, plus if your down with anything Scandinavian related you'll find a lot of like here.
There's semi-spoilers. I'm not fiddling with the formatting. Figure it out. This should have been a short film. It would have made a decent short film. No actual decisions to make. If we do not choose the "right" option, we die. This is just a movie with extra steps and re-watching parts. Trust your players. We want to have some control or even a decent illusion of control over how this story unfolds. The final confrontation was static, the only choice to engage or not engage. Disrupt the tempo of choices, players now have to choose to attack, defend, move around the clearing, press advantages, etc. This can be introduced softly during the animal encounter at night.I think this concept has potential for being much better; and I think this team has the ability to realize that potential.

Yondu's Journey is exactly what it says on the tin albeit exaggerating its scope to a somewhat silly degree in the description. This "interactive movie" is over in under 20 minutes, provided you make no incorrect choices, and follows the eponymous Norse Yondu as he and his brother undertake a journey for a scouting mission. Things quickly go awry and our protagonist finds himself fighting for his very existence. I mean, there isn't much of a story here as it boils down to watching 2-3 minute long videos before you get to make arbitrary choices leading you to the next video. To my credit I somehow managed to make every single wrong choice. Not a big deal since you can conveniently skip through videos as there's an actual visible media player bar, though. There's no mechanics or anything here so the short movie is what I can talk about. You can definitely tell it's an indie production with accented guys giving it all while wearing decent-looking outfits. It's a good thing Yondu's casting was spot-on as dude absolutely sells the portrayal of a wounded warrior trying to survive. Other character of note would be the knight he faces later on, and his actor just radiates arrogance to a ridiculous degree. You know that's not going to end well. Dodgy combat chorography could've used a pass or two.
A short story about vengeance in which the player/viewer is presented with a choice of two options a number of times. One of those options always leads to the immediate death of the protagonist, while the other progresses the 'narrative' - if you could call it that. The writing is laughably bad and it's clear that none of the people on screen have ever acted outside of whatever LARP event they were recruited at.
Short, but good.
This is a suprisingly well acted and produced (given the budget and the number of people involved) short FMV story with some binary decisions on the player's part at certain points in the story. I say give it a try if you've got about an hour to spare.
Genre
Ein kurzes Full Motion Video Adventure
Story

Follow Main group
 Follow Second group
 Follow third group
This felt like watching a (decent) amateur short film. It's an FMV game so there are a few choices to be made, but other than that there really isn't much interactivity. Generally with the choices you'll end up either dead or continuing further in the story. I really just wanted more of a game here. Free so can't complain too much, but for me it wasn't worth the time.
Super short, somewhat linear FMV game. Thumbs up because it is free and European. European FMV games are quite rare, so it's worth the time. ( But plate armor and a two-handed sword in the Viking era? C'mon....) Never thought a FMV would have stuttering problems but here we are. Might just be something bad with the download but I'm not bothering to download it again.
